Every time I thought, ‘oh, that‘s random!‘ It turned out not to be random at all. Everything linked up in an entirely unexpected way. There were times I got a little exasperated with the absurdity, but then I told myself to chill out and reminded myself that that is the beauty of this book. Of the 5 in the ‘trilogy‘ I liked ‘The Restaurant at the End of the Universe‘ and ‘Mostly Harmless‘ best.

More books I came across..

I've heard of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy..who hasn't?

But..

I know NOTHING about it. Shocking I know! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Still one of my favourite quotes ever 😁

I've been wanting to reread the hitchhiker's Guide "trilogy" for awhile now. I've decided to instead listen to them at work. It is helping time go by much quicker.

I was really excited to see the first one was read by Stephen Fry. But it's the only one my library has. The rest of the series is read by Martin Freeman. I usually like Martin Freeman, but I liked Fry's reading of it much better. Freeman's isn't bad, just not as good imho.

My anxiety has been more under control the last couple days, so today @hyperhawk and I went to my favorite local for Independent Bookstore Day. I picked up a couple books for myself and this limited edition poster for my fiance's birthday. I wish you guys could zoom in on the picture... it's all planets and ships and stuff from famous science fiction books. He's going to love it! Now I just have to hide it until July... 😂
