I watched the animated Addams Family movie today. As a huge fan of the TV show and the 90s movies, there is certainly a difference, but I think they did a good job approaching a new audience with it. I had plenty of laughs and hope the second one comes to Hulu as well.

1. I bussed tables and washed dishes at a Brazilian restaurant.

2. Mrs. Polito my 3rd grade teacher was a real Ms Frizzle type.

3. When I was 9, we saw Addams Family Values at the theater and then went to a Chinese restaurant that served us pupu platters with fire in the middle. It was really cool day for a bunch of 9 year olds and would still be a good birthday for me now.

Clwojick @Texreader hey you have two options for you to choose from for the buddy read. The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter which does have a fair bit of trigger warnings, so research before reading. And the second is On What Grounts by Cleo Coyle which is a light cozy mystery and shouldn‘t have any TW at all. If you choose the read both, only the first will be worth the 50 points. The 2nd would be worth 15pt as a team theme. 4y

Today I took the grandkids to see The Addams Family movie (animated). The kids liked it, but I have to agree that it wasn‘t the best. It could have been better. But the storyline was good and the animation was good enough. The voices felt all wrong to me, and at times it seemed like the movie was more making fun of the family than telling a fun story.
