I loved that in this volume, I'm seeing Charlie in a better place, both mentally and emotionally.
Both he and Nick, actually, are in a better place for themselves and I love that their relationship isn't being rushed and through Oseman, we get to see them go at their own pace.
This volume does have everyone thinking about their futures and next steps and I'm curious to see where Oseman takes everyone in the next volume.
What can I say? I‘m in love with this graphic novel series😍Here we will see the topics of intimacy, body image/acceptance for Charlie. So pretty!!

Nick and Charlie spend some time growing independently while developing in their relationship. Just a few months until the final volume ❤️
I liked this enough that I‘ll probably see how the series arc closes when volume 6 comes out, but I didn‘t enjoy this or volume 4 nearly as much as I did the first 2. The series started as this overwhelmingly sweet expression of young queer joy, but the last few books have read more like “message” books for young teens.
Another great installment in the series. Things are getting serious for Nick and Charlie as Nick starts to think about university and how that will affect their relationship. I remember very well the pressure to know exactly what you want to do with your life at that age, and it's probably worse now. I love the text conversations and the glimpses of side characters' storylines.
Book 13 of 2024! I love, love, love this YA series focusing on a relationship between high schoolers Nick and Charlie. It‘s a series about young people both grappling with and celebrating their sexualities. And it‘s really sweet and sometimes very profound. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I completely forgot that this is the penultimate rather than final volume, but it certainly has enough big moments for a mistaken finale! Glad to be back with these characters, and the way Oseman moves through discussions of identity, sexuality, body issues, intimacy, mental health and other topics important to teens, like figuring out what the future after high school could look like. And Nick and Charlie are so sweet! 🥰
I think this installment captures a really authentic piece not just of adolescence, but of being in a relationship - trying to figure out your own identity, goals, and dreams (independently of your family or romantic partner). I liked that all the characters supported and expressed the importance of having friends you can open up to!
I took a break from my horror novels to read this. It is sweet as usual. Charlie continues his mental health journey. Nick is choosing universities and what it would mean to be separated from Charlie for awhile. Nick and Charlie are both considering sex with one another. My only complaint is I wanted the graphic novel to be longer.

Reading some mg titles tonight and Heartstopper on my iPad. My usual mug of tea, a favorite seasonal candy and I don‘t have this candle by Bath and Body Works but I saw it in the store and I‘m quite curious.
