Terrible. Predictable. Whiny. Not one character with any redeeming qualities.

I don‘t think I could get tired of Freida McFadden books. Quick reads that have you hooked from start to finish. The last twist is huge but brought about subtly that you really have to stop and think about it.
Freida McFadden knows how to twist up her stories in some satisfying knots that also make you cringe and peak out one eye! There certainly is an ick factor that goes along with this one but I loved watching it all unfold. And that final reveal hit me right between the eyes too! Good audiobook that you just want to keep listening to! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My first Freida McFadden. It‘s possible I have a new go-to palate-cleansing author. Skeevy characters enveloped in a disturbing, deceitful, and oddly funny story. Intentionally vague opening scene keeps you guessing. Pure brain candy.
You know I love my McFadden thrillers !! They‘re easy to soak up and provide so much entertainment. Plus her twists are chef‘s 💋 ! That being said, I don‘t feel like I take away much besides the entertainment value, which is fine. Not every book has to change your life. But for that reason, this gets 3.25 🌟
Unputdownable! Best twists ever! No one can be trusted!
Narration was top-notch! And that ending!!!!

Twisty as usual. Freida nailed the process of grooming, and she nailed the way a 16-year old would speak when she wrote as Addie. Something tells me this book might ring all too familiar to a lot of girls, who maybe didn't realize just how inappropriate those student/teacher/coach relationships were.Weinstein, Epstein, now this 90's Nickelodeon exposee...it's now a ubiquitous theme. I can't help but feel sorrow, though I know it's only fiction. ⬇️
A little Freida & a 'Rita at the end of a very long week! 📖📚
I've been on a thriller/suspense kick this week and I remembered a friend recommended this author so I gave it a shot. OH.EM.GEE. YALL. This author is a mastermind.🤯🤯
Adding her to my list of favorite authors. Needless to say, 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Just tore through the audio version of this one. Whoa, what an ending!
"If I was a cat I would have peed on him." ?????
Pretty predictable thriller until the very end…….so fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow, this book was insane! I'm the past, I have jumped in the McFadden bandwagon, but this book made me a believer! The characters were delectably hateable and it touched on some seriously intense issues tw: child abuse (don't want to spoil it), but it was done in such a way that it ended up satisfying. Definitely would be a good book club read. The twists in the end will give you whiplash and I loved the nod to Edgar A Poe. ⭐⭐⭐✨
Honestly I will give it to this author she's the queen of the twist at the wnd of the book. But with that said you have to slog through 140 odd pages for this one to get page turn worthy...hit and miss when it comes to this author. The ending was good...but the rest...meh
Currently engrossed in this interesting thriller by @fmcfaddenauthor . Loving the plot and the characters and can‘t wait to see what happens! Whatever this author writes, it definitely keeps you hooked! She is officially my go to author when I‘m in a slump to get me interested in reading again! 💕
juggling 3 books this is the third book im reading…im a monster lmao…really enjoyed this one and that ending was so satisfying and left me with some questions too… #freidamcfaddenfan #readinggoal #audiophile #readinglife #weekendreads @rachelsbrittain
I did it again: I didn't read the synopsis first. This time, it resulted in genuine discomfort while reading. The Teacher kept me interested enough to continue reading through to the end, despite the uncomfortable topic of inappropriate teacher/student relationships. I did feel a bit like the last 1/4 of the book didn't quite match up to the first 3/4 of the book in some way, though I can't quite place my finger on why. Overall, not a bad read.

Love me some Freida 🩶
Lesson #1: Trust no one.
Eve has a good life. She wakes up each day, kisses her husband Nate, and heads off to teach math at the local high school. All is as it should be. Except...
Last year, Caseham High was rocked by a scandal involving a student-teacher affair, with one student, Addie, at its center. ⬇️

What in world!! I‘m hooked and this came highly recommended. I was a little apprehensive as scary, thriller and horror is not my jam but Mrs. McFadden is doing her thing!
Wow! That Ending!
Second book finished for #FabalousFeburary #20in4 Readathon #Readaway,2024 #BookSpinBingo
Freida McFadden is a genius!! I could read her books back to back and she gets me every time. We‘ve all heard the saying if you like something you buy it in every color. Well when you like someone you buy every book. That‘s why she is my #9of2024
Heard different things on this. Some say it's great, some it's just okay, some it's not any good. I guess I will see where I end up on the scale.
Wait a minute!!!! I‘VE GOT SOME PROBLEMS AFTER THIS ONE!!!
This was a quick and entertaining psychological thriller that revolves around some teachers and students at Caseham High School. WARNING: lots of cringe with this one if you‘re an educator!
Another fun twisty thriller!! This is one that I don‘t want to spoil so don‘t read the reviews, just read it, it‘ll have you on the edge of your seat & up all night reading!! Compelling easy read.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️3/4
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Accidentally fell into this while in the midst of a kindle unlimited search binge. A few eyerolls (which the epilogue did make me take them back) but otherwise this was a solid little thriller. I‘ve never read the author and I may even pick up a second book of hers right after.
This book was just not for me. I felt like I have read this plot line so many times already. There are glaring plot holes, and the twist at the end I felt was just not needed and created plot holes. 2/5
Wow! Freida McFadden is now one of my favorite authors. Her writing/storytelling is phenomenal and she keeps you on the edge of your seat. The storyline of this book was great, but it totally pissed me off. Teenage girls are so vulnerable and gullible. The ending was totally unexpected. I did not see that coming. My chin almost hit the floor. I definitely recommend this book.

McFadden=the Queen of McTwists!!!!😱😱😱

February 2024 love this author only 122 pages into this … having trouble putting it down!! Sunday 2/11 nine pm finished!!! I‘m speechless…. Amazing author!! Completed in less than 3 days!
Fastest that I‘ve gotten through a book in a long time! Freida always throws some little extra quick about a character in, and the one that is in this one is just great 👠!!
Mcfadden has done it again!
