I‘m so excited about these! Three of them I‘ve been wanting to read for a while, and the Rumer Godden also sounded SO good—I justified buying it in order to get the maximum discount. Of course. 😆📚💜

Next round in my #bookishmonopoly journey! I got Random.org and put all my To Read books in a huge wheel thingy. It chose Authority by Andrea Long Chu which is totally a #blameitonLitsy 😁

Technically, my last book purchase was a haul, as well, though, from The Book Barn in Niantic, CT (which is one of my favorite places). Paperbacks are typically around $4. I bought a whole towering stack. 7d

CarolynM Linden Rise by Richmal Crompton from a second hand bookshop in Albury at a stop on the road trip home from Sydney. Books are what I spend my money on, I rarely use libraries. The last book I borrowed from a library was Stepford Wives for a Litsy readalong a few years ago because I literally could not find a copy to buy. (edited) 7d

monalyisha @vivastory Decent fonts are so important! Most mass market fonts are too small for me. Every copy of The Ivy Tree by Mary Stewart that I‘ve ever gotten my hands on has been *so* hard to read. I keep hoping to find one that works! 4d

vivastory @BiblioLitten I was at a family dinner a few months ago & my cousin's partner was trying to convince my aunt (also a reader) to read TL (which I haven't read), but I did chime in with my enthusiasm of Patchett as Dutch House is one of my favorites from the past few yrs.
