I have a feeling the tagged book is going to be VERY popular @Cinfhen ! Most of these were read this year but here is my #top10ofthedecade #nonfictionedition.

Chosen because of impact on me, highlightablity and whether I've gone out to buy more by the author.

KarenUK The Salt path is on my #2020TBR , gifted to me by the lovely Cindy 💕 20h
TiredLibrarian I want to read this; have heard many good things about it. 20h
Cinfhen Oh wow!!! I‘ve only read 3 🙈once again, my #TBR is exploding 😂😂😂 13h

jenniferw88 @Cinfhen if you'd said to me 3 years ago at the end of the decade you'll be listing a sports biography on your favourites list, I'd have been amazed! #blameitonlitsy 11h
Cinfhen So true!! Litsy has been amazing for expanding my reading too!!!!! 8h
Mdargusch I have yet to read Bad Blood but now I‘m inspired since it‘s on so many lists! 6h

Most, if not all, of these are from the last year or two rather than the whole decade, but it‘s so difficult to choose!

There‘s a couple of others just bothering the edges of the top 10 and I have ‘H is for Hawk‘ and ‘Henrietta Lack‘ on my TBR shelf, which both appear to be favourites of many people.

TrishB I‘ve read 2 of hours 😁 not a big NF reader! 22h
Cinfhen Another screenshot for me! With all the nonfiction I read, I‘ve STILL managed to miss SO MANY 😳😱 22h
Cinfhen I‘ve read 5 and 2 are already on my #TBR 22h

squirrelbrain @TrishB - I didn‘t used to read a lot of NF - #blameitonlitsy 😁 22h
squirrelbrain Which ones haven‘t you read @cinfhen? This one is definitely one of my favourites this year.... 22h
Cinfhen I haven‘t read the book you just tagged 👆🏽, Ghettoside, Dreyer‘s English, The period book and 22h
Cinfhen Ghettoside and Dryer‘s are both on my #ReadersRadar and so is Indianapolis 🤓 22h
squirrelbrain They‘re all fab @cinfhen. Of course they are, or they wouldn‘t be on my list! I‘ve only read a few of other people‘s lists - TBR is growing (again!)... 22h
DGRachel Indianapolis is so good. I‘m not a huge nonfiction reader, but I loved that one so much! 💖 22h
TrishB I actually put Period on my Christmas list! 21h
KarenUK Dryers English is on my #2020tbr ... it sounds awesome.... 💕 20h
Amiable “Bad Blood“ is on my short list for 2020. 47m

Two holiday reads so far, so a few Bingo boxes checked!!

#WinterGames #MerryReaders @Clwojick @StayCurious

Clwojick Woohoo! I love that you printed this to use in a bullet journal. 😍 6d
TheAromaofBooks @Clwojick - I borrowed some ideas from @SaturnDoo and printed off calendars to track this month's photo challenges, too. I mayyyy have gotten carried away and created a bullet journal just for Litsy stuff!! 😆 6d
SaturnDoo @TheAromaofBooks wooohooo I'm so happy you're borrowing ideas and journaling with me ❤❤❤❤ I have 1.5 bujos dedicated just for Litsy/reading. 1 of them I'm just trying to use up the last few pages in it. You made me 😊 6d

Clwojick My bujo has maybe 5 pages that arnt Litsy related lol. It quickly went from a day planner to a Litsy tracker 😂 6d
Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks if you don‘t mind tapping in some pages and print offs I can send you a few small things with your Christmas card? I have LOADS. you too, @SaturnDoo ❤️ 6d
SaturnDoo @Clwojick thank you!!! That would be awesome!!!I was just saying yesterday that I've never done the taping in or washi tape but I'm sure going to buy some washi tape and give it a whirl. It will be a #blameitonlitsy and @Clwojick and @TheAromaofBooks 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 6d
TheAromaofBooks @Clwojick that is so thoughtful!! I am actually all about taping stuff in my journal because I have no artistic talent at all haha I never turn down any kind of journaling supplies because I have a serious addiction. If it's easier, you can also totally email me pdfs? I know mailing anything heavier than a regular letter between Canada & US can get pricey, so it's whatever works for you! And @SaturnDoo I accept full blame for any washi tape ⬇ 6d
TheAromaofBooks ...addictions. I MAY have sent you a small package yesterday! 🤗 6d
SaturnDoo @TheAromaofBooks OMG really??? You didn't have to do that...you just brought😢 of joy to my eyes. ❤❤❤🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗 I am so glad we started chatting here. I've really enjoyed our chats and your company 🌞🌞🌞 6d
TheAromaofBooks @SaturnDoo - I had some extras around because I'm totally addicted to washi tape, and just felt like it would be fun to send them your way!! It was going to be a surprise but... I'm pretty terrible at surprises!!! 😂 6d
Clwojick Also 1 pt 😉 6d

This was a fascinating listen, some things I had read about or knew about from other sources and many I did not know. The style is conversational and humorous.

I finished listening while taking a walk and feeding the calves at my sister‘s while visiting this weekend.

#nonfiction #audiobook #Hoopla

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I‘ve seen this one on here before, it always look so tempting! 1w
Daisey @Riveted_Reader_Melissa This was absolutely a #BlameitonLitsy choice. It‘s a very light and fun listen for something that could be a heavy topic. 1w

Started this one on Kobo last night. I'm excited to complete the Farseer trilogy, and am so thankful to all the Littens who have trumpeted their love for Robin Hobb. I don't think I'd have picked up these books without the Litsy love, and I've been so engrossed in Fitz's world. #BlameitonLitsy

I'll be using this towards #Booked2019 because I've been reading enough real world political intrigue in the news, so it's fantasy world intrigue ftw!

Cinfhen Good choice!!! 2w
Kalalalatja Yay! So happy you are enjoying the series! 2w
BarbaraTheBibliophage Can‘t blame you for staying away from real life for this prompt! ♥️📚👊🏻 2w

This was a #blameitonlitsy read. For months I waited to find it at the library and it was worth it. The German title translates as The horror of early medicine, and it was indeed a horror for patients and doctors, until anesthesia was invented and Joseph Lister took up the fight against infections. One caveat: you should have a strong stomach for the book.

readordierachel It's wild to think about how far we've come since then. This was a fascinating read. 2w
PickwickPlockPlock @readordierachel I knew that the times were bad for patients, but I had no idea that the medicine students suffered and were traumatised, too. 2w

Anything stay with you?
Anything you learned ?
Need to discuss ??

Do you look at the assassination differently now?

Mitch Really liked this pick - i probably wouldn't have read it if it wasn't for this group - and i enjoyed it - another #blameitonlitsy ! Love the characters and thought the historical setting was really pitch perfect! 2w
Librarybelle It turned into a good read for me! While it has the assassination as the backdrop, it hasn‘t really changed my thoughts or feelings on the assassination. Instead, I will take more of the “mobster feeling with a more human touch” away with me. I picked it up from #BOTM for the historical aspects, but honestly not one I would read on my own normally. Thanks ladies! 😁 2w
Sargar114 @Librarybelle me too! I enjoy things of the Kennedy era, and while that‘s the backdrop, it‘s not really the bulk of the story. Not one I would normally read, but a fantastic story that I really enjoyed. And of course the discussions 🥰 2w

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thanks to everyone for participating!!! We have had great discussions!! Can‘t wait for next month!!! 💙💙💙 2w
TheBookHippie @Mitch this one turned out so much better than we thought!!!!! Thank you! We sure enjoy our reads! 2w
TheBookHippie @Librarybelle We love the discussions . Misty and I picked this for the same reason! I am glad we did. It turned out to be a great buddy read book! @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks 2w
Mdargusch Thank you @TheBookHippie and @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks - such a fun buddy read, great questions, and a great book! 2w
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Mdargusch thank you Mariann!!! It was much better than I anticipated!! 2w

I have been working very hard to clear my shelves so I rewarded myself with these purchases at my library book sale. Tagged had been on my #tbr for a long time. Carnegie's Maid is a #blameitonlitsy as I saw it featured on a post before I checked out and went back to grab it! Christmas movie and book are for #wintergames how weird is this movie going to be?! @Laughterhp

Laughterhp That‘s awesome! I‘m glad I could influence your purchase 😂😂 Also that movie looks super weird! Hope you enjoy it! 2w
marleed Oh fun. I love supporting Library Book sales. This week I learned our Friends of the Library earns over $100k for the public library. ...I also realize it‘s much easier for me to part with books for which I‘ve thrifted vs those I‘ve paid full or near-full price. 2w
Clwojick hah! that movie looks amazing! And i love all of Brenda Novak's books. 2w
