Career of Evil | Robert Galbraith

So far, I'm finding this third Strike book to be much better than the second. I found Silkworm to be a bit of a let down, especially in regard to the characters. Robin just did not seem as full, developed, and human as I had expected after reading Cuckoo's Calling. I'm pleased to see the Robin I loved back, and to learn more of her history and watch her and Strike's partnership develop.

My Sunday afternoon reading and super healthy lunch. 😋Do you ever start reading a book and you love it so much that you don't want it to end, so you slow down as much as you can and try to savor it? I only have about 100 pages left of this but I love it so much I haven't picked it up since yesterday afternoon because I hate to see it end! 😩I actually like it better than Ove, believe it or not! 😱 #bookandasnack 💚

But I really love the characters in this book and can't wait to see how it ends! I hope you guys enjoy it when you do read it. ☺️ 6y

The Secret of Chimneys | Agatha Christie

These cookies don't look like much but they're ever so good! Browned butter cookies with chocolate chunks and chopped up Butterfingers with sea salt. I'm baking them off in very small portions in an attempt at self control. 😆 But have already eaten two, warm out of the oven, since picture was taken 😳 #bookandasnack

Time for #bookandasnack - I started this about a month ago but got sidetracked with my required reading and Christmas books. But I really love it so far and have a feeling it will be one of my favorite reads this year, so I'm trying to savor it. And I absolutely LOVE the cover! 💚I love anything to do with Old Hollywood, and the color of her dress is my favorite shade of green. 😍I really wish I could go back in time. Anyone seen Marty McFly? 🔽
