I finally decided to see what the fuss is about 50 years after it was written.

Women in historical romances didn't have the freedom of choice most of us have today. They did their best with what they had, and sometimes, their womanly wiles were the only leverage they had.

I have always been fascinated by the Watergate scandal, and this book reminds me of the days of excellent reporting and research in the search for truth. Every time I read it, I learn something new.

peaKnit It was at UW-Whitewater (Wisconsin) I had a criminal justice minor. I wish true crime podcasts were invented in the early 90‘s, I was true crime before it was cool 🤣 3mo

dabbe @peaKnit My fascination with true crime goes back to Ted Bundy. Who killed multiple women, including two of them at Chi Omega Sorority at FSU. I was a Chi Omega at U of A in the mid 1980s. We all had to sleep on a sleeping porch together BECAUSE of TB. We weren't allowed to sleep alone. Ever. 😱 3mo

peaKnit Omg, Ted Bundy sparked my interest in crime. I feel like I know everything there is to know about him and get so excited when I learn a new nugget. How scary though being in college, and the same sorority that was victimized, at that time, he was absolutely unhinged when he went to Florida. The most complete psychopath I have ever learned about. I know 83% of the songs for #threelistthursday! There are SO many favorites on this list, so instead I'm going to share 3 unpopular opinions:

🙃 I don't enjoy Beat It. I've just never been an MJ fan. My husband thinks I'm nuts.
🙃 I liked Creep by Radiohead when it first came out, but now everyone on the planet has covered it and it's been overplayed and I cringe when it comes on.
🙃 Don't Stop Believin' by Journey: Nope. Just no.
