BookmarkTavern One of the things I love the most about the Moist books is just how much Vetinari we get. I love watching how his plans all come together. It makes me want to check the TV Tropes page for the Xanatos Gambit to see if Vetinari is there. 2y

BookmarkTavern Also, I‘ve always wondered. If Pratchett had been able to write more books with Moist and Vetinari, would we have seen Moist being nudged into taking over for Vetinari? I think Patrician von Lipwig would have been very interesting. 2y

khooliha @ozma.of.oz I don't know if we would have seen the actual hand over of power, but I definitely think it would have been basically laid out. I can picture the Vetinari's one vote getting read. Moist running the city would be fantastic to read. (Lucky for him that Vimes would probably be retiring around the same time.) 2y

Soubhiville I really love the Moist books, they‘re among my favorites. His ambition and his reluctance to let go of his shadow life, his ingenuity, his ability to squirm around obstacles and the truth… I just love him, such a great character. 2y
