A nonprofit that works with the hospital near me typically donates medical equipment but they are also collecting other supplies for when they go down to PR soon. Most of these municipalities are in the mountains; many with just one access route. After Maria, all communications and all power was down. 13 days later, 30% of communications and 5% of power has been restored. 40% of water service is also back. Google and see how many troops were sent to Japan, Haiti after disasters there. 7y

Very good letter by a teacher living in PR. Her name is Claudia Reyes. Just in case you're interested. "We are not ingrates and we are not idle; we are cognizant of the sacrifices both federal and local workers face, laboring alongside one another. We are American citizens clamoring for 7y
