These are my favorite birthday books. My mother has helped me get all hardbacks of this collection for the past few years for my birthday. #LetThemEatCake17

I went a little dark for #LetThemEatCake17 but this book and this quote was the first thing that came to mind when I saw @Lizpixie 's wonderful birthday post. I just feel so bad for Charlie, because birthdays should be awesome, happy and fun. So this post is for all the people who find birthdays hard, for Charlie and everyone else who needs a bit of love. ❤

#LetThemEatCake17 Happy Birthday, @Lizpixie This is my birthday book. My great-grandmother gave this book to me on my 8th birthday. When I was little, people would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I always answered with, "a princess." This story confirmed my belief that all little girls are princesses. Every time I see this book, I am reminded of my grandmother and that special birthday.
