Here is mine: INCIDENT PART-TIME TEACHER

I was a business teacher but a full time one so this was fun it turned out to be these words.

I had a few incidents in my 34 years as a business teacher, but mostly everyone was happy to learn to type.

Did you learn to type?

tournevis I did learn to type in the mid-1980s, in my private highschool for girls run by Catholic nuns. In a large typewriter lab that had been state of the art in 1958. On Olivetti manual typewriter with approximalivaly 8 miles of travel on the keys. Good times. 6y

cobwebmoth My mom made me learn to type on her typewriter. She insisted that typing and accounting were skills that would be practical. She wasn't wrong.🙂 6y

robinb I LOVED typing class (took Typing I and Typing II my junior and senior years in high school). My business teachers were some of the best I had (favorites too!). Thanks for the memories and for your years of patience as a teacher! 👏👏👏👏👏❤️😊 6y

Carolyn11215 My mom made me take typing in high school because she said if I could type I‘d always be able to make a living. I wasn‘t very happy about it but like so many things my mom told me that I didn‘t want to listen to at the time, she was right. I‘m very grateful that I can speed type as I watch some people hunt and peck on their keyboards. Saved my bacon more than once when I was typing up college term papers at the 11th hour as well! 6y

rockpools We got to take it as an optional extra during A-levels. A few weeks in, I broke my collarbone. To this day I can touch-type perfectly as long as I only use the A-L row of the keyboard. 🤔 6y
