Full disclosure: I don‘t actually remember much from this specific book vs. the other Watergate era books I‘ve read, but according to Goodreads, this was the book I liked most from February! #12Booksof2023 @Andrew65
Bk1 of #WinterGames & #20in4 #readathon was finished Sunday. Sorry I haven‘t posted till now, we‘ve had a bad start to December here. I have read a few books still. This NF is one I‘ve wanted to read for years, Watergate is fascinating. Written by the two journalists who persevered with the story even under pressure from government agencies who just wanted the incident to go away. Nixon & Trump have a lot in common! #TeamEvergreen #4866pts 👇
Now I‘m probably not going to read a lot of scary books, but this perfectly ties in with the #24hourreadathon later on in October. Check out @Catsandbooks for more details. #31by31readathon #31by31
I am going to try for 31 hours.

"The Final Days" stands as a profound testament to the power of great journalism. 4/5 Stars
I‘ve been reading this for years and finally finished! Definitely a pick for anyone as fascinated with Richard Nixon as I am. I realized near the end that the day I‘m planning to leave Japan after 17 years here is the 49th anniversary of his resignation, so the last part about his departure particularly resonated. #chunskter
I wanted to learn more about Watergate so of course I went to the source. I expected Nixon gossip but this was more a super interesting retelling of all the steps the two men went through to report their story. This version also had a new intro from 2022 which compared Watergate to current events. #AwesomeAugust book 6/6
