Mehso-so

I‘ve read every Mercy adventure. This one more than bordered on horror. I skipped some parts, too much for me. Maybe as I get older, I don‘t like the grizzly stuff. Not bad read other than that.

I find myself putting off new releases in favorite series more and more, don‘t get me wrong I buy them right away, I just put off reading them....they go by too fast and then there‘s another long gap until the next. Then when I finally read them I rush through, totally enjoy the ride, wonder why I waited so long, then still have a book hangover afterwards.

Mercy still holds up after all these books, it‘s still fun and sassy, with a crazy ⤵️

Riveted_Reader_Melissa ↪️ cast of supernatural characters, all with their own distinct motivations, that I love to read about, and I‘m always left wanting more at the end. Another satisfying installment, and I have to say, after all this time I still love that Mercy usually ends up saving the much older and more experienced supernatural characters in these stories. 2mo
ravenlee I love love love Mercy! I always wait for the paperbacks to come out before I read them. It doesn‘t make the wait any shorter, since I then have to wait for the next paperback...but it would drive me nuts if my series didn‘t match. 2mo

Already on a new book and for the last year, that's rare for me. Slowly trying to get back to feeling like myse.lf after chronic migraines and fibromyalgia.

So working on my blog while listening to some Mercy drama

Accomplished!

Walked every day for 30 mins except one day that was raining so I did yoga that day instead. These are the two books I read this week. Thanks for inspiring me @wanderinglynn!

wanderinglynn Fantastic week! 🙌 And great job adapting on the rainy day. That's awesome that you didn't let the rain slow you down. Plus, excellent book choice—I love the Mercy Thompson series. (I haven't yet read the other one.) 5mo

#11 in the Mercy Thompson series did not disappoint! Seeing as I devoured the entire book in a single sitting. . . I've been reading these books since high school and they're still fun, engaging, reads. Love the blends of different mythologies and religious influences.

A new(ish) problem for the Columbia Basin pack plus the usual full plate for Mercy. I had a bit of trouble with this one because it heavily referenced a story I don't remember. If you don't remember all that much from Frost Burned I highly recommend you reread it before starting this book.

Another great addition to the Mercy series! This book finds our heroine and the pack learning to deal with goblins, zombies, witches and perhaps the most gruesome of all - government officials. My only complaint is that the title doesn‘t really make any sense with the story.

… I forgot I can add posts on the web!! HaHA!

I always enjoy a new Mercy Thompson. This series, IMO, is settling in to a nice serial installment arc with no real end in sight and I don't mind at all. Especially if the author continues to improve how she deals with the interactions between female characters. Spoiler below - I'd love to hear from you about it if you've read the book!

Larkken Oh man, I admit I did not see Elizavetta's death coming. Just like Sage (hm, maybe I'm blind to the nefarious properties of female characters?). I really liked, well, both characters tbh. Also, it seems like a mistake to get rid of the main love-to-hate-her witch character? 6mo

Another fantastic story in the Mercy Thompson series. This doesn‘t really work as a standalone and I highly recommend this series for any fans of urban fantasy. Many things are revealed about some of our favorite characters. Loved this one!! #urbanfantasy

This series is one that after 11 books is still going strong! I liked the direction that this book took, even though it was quite distressing for Mercy, Adam, & the pack. As always there was humor mixed it with the fantasy & I loved the entire cast of characters that were included. There were new starts, a reconciliation with a character that I just adore, and some losses that were both upsetting but also right. Full review at www.thegenreminx.com
