It's a bit of a stretch, but yes that is a #RollerCoaster on the cover 😂

Perfect reading for that limbo time of waiting on a book mail
Just some light reading while I wait for my bookshop.org order to arrive (hopefully tomorrow). Waiting on the new Kristy Woodson Harvey, and Beatriz Williams 👏🏼📚
I enjoyed it. And while it confirmed what I've always known about having zero desire to hike the AT, it did make me want to do more adventurous hikes than the ones I've been doing since moving to CO. But still none that require a tent 😆

This gave me another bingo on my Jan-June board! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

Wow I scored a whopping 6% 😂
Three favorites:
1. Rouge One
2. Bohemian Rhapsody
3. Rocket Man, but I don't think it was one the list
July #BookSpin list
Also gearing up for the 2nd half of the year #BookSpinBingo
I won't be blacking out the 1st half's board, but I'm damn pleased with the progress thus far 😁
Starting this one in hopes of another bingo 🤞🏼
A fascinating look into another's marriage. The whole multi-relationship prospect seems exhausting to me; both physically and emotionally. But I get the different partners feeding different facets of a person. I like my alone time more 😁 My favorite part of the book was Molly's mother, Mary--love her!

While the grand naps, the Nanma reads 😁
An interesting look into a life, as I find most autobiography's to be. When you watched a person on TV your whole life and had your bedroom walls plastered with pictures of their husband it's easy to forget they are simply people.

It really is the little things....
So we had put down our old boy, Dopey, a week and a half ago. And it's been the usual sad shocks of no longer having a pet.
But today I'm doing my usual weekly and as I start vacuuming the family room I'm thinking there's something wrong with the vacuum because I don't hear the little clicks of dirt going up the hose. And it hit me -- there's no cat litter on the floor 😢
I'm sad. I'm going to miss these people. I'm going to miss Nantucket. But I'm mostly going to miss a reliable summer read from a go to author. Luckily, there a few backlist titles I haven't read yet.

It's just too damn hot to do anything but sit in the shade and read 🥵
This was The most fun and entertaining novel I've read in a long time. Loved it!
This cover is just too gorgeous not to use for #SummerSouls #Rainbow

So excited to support a brand new indie bookseller at their first pop-up shop today!
Got two books that were on my wishlist, two I didn't know I needed, and the cutest bookmark weeeee! 💞

The only problem with these stories is if you read the companion books a while ago and don't really remember the characters. Other than that: enjoyable read

Misty! What a totally unexpected, and most pleasant surprise!! I'm speechless with gratitude ☺️
Thank you, thank you, thank you💕 I'm looking forward to reading this!
Unexpected #BookMail is definitely the best kind of mail ever 😊
While I wait for Swan Song to come out, I'll just journey through some older Nantucket stories 🏖️
Raiders of the Lost Ark meets Dianetics. Some of the spiritual philosophy was actually interesting. But the whole government/church intrigue story was just dumb.

80s movie score 80/100
Picking 3 favorites is Harrddd! So I'll start with the two movies that I saw twice in one day:
1. Airplane - my mother took me and my brother; we loved it so much we all back to the movies that night bring my grandmother and father to see it too.
2. Footloose - Saw it on a Saturday afternoon at the mall with my BFF, went back that night with my BF
3. Cannonball Run

@Eggs Thank you for the tag 😊
I.None that I can think of off the top of my head.
II.None
III.I'm happy to see my 18yo cat, Dopey, appears to be recovering well from an extensive oral surgery on Monday. The vet discovered tissue damage from the gums to the pallet that could either be scar tissue due to a damaged tooth or a tumor. We opted not to biopsy bc if he doesn't show signs of healing the writing's on the wall.
