No everyone‘s cup of tea a short novel about an abusive relationship with a husband who has BPD & a narcissistic unloving mother who then becomes elderly and needy , sad topics and your left wondering whether she walks away from them all or not ?? But the writing was exceptional

First half of the book a definite 4.5 star 🌟 read ; second half a 3 and abit blah 🫤 personally compared to other reads I didn‘t find the love interest between Heath and kat that passionate, the spark just wasn‘t really there & the ending how the hell did that happen . It did reignite my love of ice skating and ice dance , overall an easy cosy ish enjoyable read that won‘t blow your socks off but is enjoyable

Should have known because I dnf‘ed the authors award winning novel white tiger, I love a good Wild West book but not this one

What a disappointment! Such an interesting historical figure but sadly this part of her life left me deflated , boring in parts And as other reviewers have said the book should have been titled ceasar and cleopatra, mark Anthony is mentioned once towards the end almost as if there could be a part 2 book 2 but very much doubt it , what a shame, sadly a let down for me

Absolutely loved it and a fitting end to a truly brilliant series , elements are 4 of the best books Iv ever read ! Not my fav but ties everything up perfectly & not as shocking as the other 3 and dare I say a “happier” ending. A whole series which brilliantly captures the trauma inflicted on people by a handful of others , I urge everyone to read them

I‘m not sure what iv just read and 🤔 how to rate this, as other reviewers have said it is a story on a constant loop of repetition if your looking for a story about a complete arsehole then you‘ve found it in this , I can‘t even call Ernt a villain as he‘s not worthy , Cora no comment 😶 leni she‘s great . First holiday read finished in beautiful 🤩 Croatia 🇭🇷 overlooking the 20 minutes of water to stunning 🤩 Dubrovnik where GOTs was filmed , loved those books 📚 back in the day. I enjoyed deep cuts wouldn‘t say I loved it but enjoyed the angst and frustration and misunderstandings of love , more of a love story to music 🎶 than daisy jones & six to which it‘s compared,a short read & a good one, looking forward to the film with Austin butler

Iv given this amazing authors book 5 stars even though I found some of the content extremely difficult to read being a huge animal lover , poaching is evil ,cruel, disastrously damaging to these wonderful creatures, who with a normal heart soul and mind could do such a thing ! The daily fight against these evil people and the removal of snares ! The chapters about the orphaned baby animals and the trauma they‘ve endured at the hands of humans

And nothing much changes ……

Oh hamitch any of this would be enough to turn anyone to drink ! I personally loved this book I loved the slow paced start the reaping the run up to the games the friendships and comradey. Yes it is shocking and violent in places but I think a great story , loved the old characters appearing mags as mentor and the nod to Katniss at the end , a wonderful wonderful edition to brilliant series. Now don‘t mess the film up !gardens at Blenheim palace

My first time with a sanderson book but hadn‘t put me off I will try maybe a series this one just not for me too slow & couldn‘t engage with the characters
