Imagine being at a circus freakshow as a kid... the novel is creepy and reminds you of youthful fears. Wonderful book. Creepy, eerie, and imaginative. #raybradbury #somethingwickedthiswaycomes #bookworm #circus #freakshow #carnival #eerie #creepy #supernatural

Noir: A Novel | Christopher Moore

Easy fun read with a wise guy attitude and a dangerous third person account of the story. Moore is a gifted writer with both wit and humor. Like #aliens and #snakes or #meninblack ? Then pick it up. #noir #christophermoore #fiction #bookworm #englishmajor

The second book following The Bear and the Nightingale (if you haven't read it I don't know what you're waiting on). Vasya is a kick ass female protagonist and the plot is beautifully composed. The book is adventure, family, and love. I am already looking for book three. 🖤

The third novel in the John Dies at the End series. Holy shit. It was full of butts and I couldn't have asked for much more. #johndiesattheend #whatthehelldidijustread #davidwong #endoftheworld #horror #comedy #darksenseofhumor

The Haunting of Hill House | Shirley Jackson

#shirleyjackson is a storyteller for the ages. I should not be scared of haunted houses at this point but damn... #thehauntingofhillhouse isn't scary for normal reasons. Great spooky novel with an unforgettable ending.

We Are Okay | Nina LaCour

I did enjoy the book after fighting to make it to the end. It is written and guided with emotion and memories not a normal story plot that leads from A to B. It was overall a good read but if your attention span is short, don't pick it up.

Neverwhere | Neil Gaiman

One of #neilgaiman most popular works, #neverwhere, was a journey with multiply plot twists. It was a quick and easy read regardless of the size. The #fantasy aspect just simply allowed my imagination to grow.

This might be one of the #best books I've read in the past 10 years. #thebearandthenightingale was cold and warm along with fantasy and reality all blended together. #katherinearden is a wonderful new author and I've already pre-ordered the second book in this adventure.

A really different take on the Peter Pan #fairytale that I know and love. The #book was easy to read and had an awesome blend of mystery and excitement. #Christinahenry is a master of retelling the classics and I am hoping for a second novel to follow #lostboy ... #peterpan #captainhook

The Buried Giant: A novel | Kazuo Ishiguro

#theburiedgiant was paced slower then I normally read, but #ishiguro does a wonderful job of creating a novel that moves with the speed of the protagonists. The book was not a challenge to finish because of all the mysteries and quests being sought.

A wonderful sci-fi book with an interesting and easy to follow text that is dominately written in a dialogue format. This doesn't hurt the story but only enhances the imagination.
