Scochrane26 I had a new teen client last week who was nervous because she didn‘t know if I‘d be ok with LGBTQ+ issues. I reassured her. I hate it that close-minded people make others feel unsafe. Also, my church is very welcoming of everyone, so I hate when people think all churches are like conservative evangelicals. 2mo

mcctrish @Jess861 it‘s the last week of school ☹️ it was 46° C today here in London (50° in Toronto) and probably half our schools have a/c - mine does- I don‘t know what they will do at the others. I hope they‘ve bought portable air conditioners ( home and school) the board won‘t allow window ones in case they fall 3mo

mcctrish @Jess861 my youngest is coming home from Toronto tonight by bus and initially his bus was broken down and switched out with another with no a/c and we were all thinking this can‘t be true!! But apparently the driver got the a/c working. Our temps are supposed to go down a bit Wednesday cuz we have a storm coming 3mo

Jess861 @mcctrish oh no - thank goodness they got the a/c working on the bus! Funny enough we just got an email from the school - the school library is the only room that has a/c so all the classes will rotate through it. Glad the books get to stay cool, lol! Yeah, we are only a few hours away from TO so we are getting the same weather as you - just a little bit cooler! 3mo

dabbe @Jess861 OMG ... I would never work at my school it it didn't have a.c. Once a fuse blew, and my room was engulfed in smoke. I had to travel for the entire quarter until they got around to fixing it. Hang in there! 💙 3mo
