Look at my adorable lil floating shelves I bought as a present to myself ! I‘ve been making my space mine this spring and it has helped with my anxiety. When i get home from a long day of work or time with fam or friends it‘s great to be able to walk into my space and feel at peace and at home there. Slowly I am feeling more human slowly I am making this life mine.
My Bedside reading! I love poetry , and qoutes they help me so much to grow and heal everyday! I love this collection, so many deep, real qoutes that hit the soul and really make you think! These books have helped me through happy times and sad and i will never get tired of reading these! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10😍

I‘ve been growing impatient
trying to survive on empty
your promised were like rope
wrapped tightly around my neck
the chair beneath my feet
the only thing holding us up
“your child is not a weapon
your child is not some tool
that you should use
to hurt others
it hurts my heart
it tears me apart
to witness your inability
to appreciate the efforts
of those who only wish
to love your child
as if that child was theirs
your child is not some weapon
and yet you use this child
in that way
not realizing that you‘re only
hurting yourself
by destroying the bond
shared by others
just to protect your own”

bailedI hate to say I dislike a poet‘s work, but seriously - there are only so many times you can get away with describing someone as ‘broken and beautiful‘ or ‘broken but beautiful‘ before I chuck the book acroom. Nothing in this collection moved me. I‘d like to hope the other 5 by this artist are a bit better.

Trying to decide how curious I am about these.
pickI absolutely loved this book! And I'm currently reading volume 2. If you liked milk and honey by Rupi kaur (hope I didn't mispell ther name🙈) you'll definitely love this. Reading these types of books makes me feel like they are writing about my life and there is definitely more of a connection for me with these books than just regular YA. At times when i would have to take a moment and just absorb the words i just read. It is truly beautiful.

pickA perfect book of poetry and prose. Of the highs and lows we go through while experiencing relationships in our generation. Being in love, getting your heartbroken and learning to heal. I liked this one better than the 2nd.👍
