@CrowCAH Hopefully this will be sorted out before the Keira Knightly book comes out in October! It should be fine since I believe the new exemption is for packages under $100, but we need the postal service to be actually running! Neither The Royal Mail or DHL is currently accepting any packages for the US. If all else fails I guess I'll have to find some American tourist to act as courier 🤣 (because that doesn't sound dodgy at all)

Leniverse @CrowCAH Yes, I think once they figure out the paperwork and get through the backlog sending items as gifts should be possible again. It's commercial goods that will be difficult. Late October is probably a good time. After the chaos is sorted and before the Xmas rush! 2w

I'm so uber-excited about all the autumny bookswaps. I signed up for four!! 🙈 Already sent out my #letshyggeswap package and am looking forward to receiving mine. Aaah, the suspense! I'm almost stalking the postman. 😂 Am now preparing my #theretellingbookswap package to be sent out next week. And I'm patiently waiting for my matches in the two Halloween swaps. I love this! It's so much fun picking the (hopefully) perfect gifts for everyone. ❤️🎃

LauraBrook @sprainedbrain True! Plus, I talk to my mail lady all the time and if she sees me in the window she flags me out to help with packages. 😂 it's really funny. And when it's hot/cold I always give her a cold/hot drink and a nice tip at the holidays, so I'm at least good with her! 8y

SpeculativeFemale We get some eye rolls and funny looks because we have all of our packages delivered at work rather than at home. Nothing like receiving a bunch of big amazon boxes in the middle of a lunch rush at a restaurant! 🙃 8y

Leniverse They were both delivered on the door, to twice the excitement. The cube shaped fragile box is so well sealed it will likely take me until the summer solstice to get it open. 😂 And you have the best wrapping paper. (I peeked at the other one and ascertained that it was safe to open and admire.) Thank you! I'm so curious I'm going to pace in circles around them now for a month. 😆 8y
