Some silly, light-hearted reading by the Christmas tree; very needed after a long week! It really doesn't get much better. 📚🎄❤️

Wow! Let me just say I loved this book! It made me laugh, cringe, and wonder if I would ever be friends with people like these. The book is told through emails and text messages between 8 friends over the course of a year, how things change between them and how some things will never change for them. I would highly recommended this book!

I recommend this to every girlfriend I have
I can't believe I'm panning an epistolary novel, but I am. There's the bride, and then there's her alpha MoH. All about the bride and wedding. Didn't care if anyone had financial problems with any of the events, or in general. My favorite charger was Grace. Possibly followed by Morgan.
Kill me now, these women seem so self centered, how did they even end up as friends?
I added a fourth book to my #currentlyreading last night. I don't usually try anywhere near this many at once but I left Conversations With Friends at work. So, I had to read something and Clockwork Princess is dragging right now.
I'm just whipping through this book but these ladies keep making me groan, I nearly threw the book at one point.
Capturing the time between Mean Girls and Desperate Housewives, I didn‘t like this like I thought I would when I first started reading but I stayed for the laughs, of which there were many. Despite this not being my kind of book, I rank it 4⭐️ for all the funnies.

“Every step you take is one more step towards another step.”
With inspiring quotes like this, you can see why this light reading is nice to wind down to after a stressful work day.
Think shallow high school mean girls all grown up. This is totally, like, not my normal read, but tbh I can‘t stop laughing at them so I‘m just going to keep reading. 🤣🤣🤣
Utter fluff! 🧠🍭 Ridiculous, OTT and I kinda mean that as a compliment!
Think snapchat/email-chain epistolary, if the ‘Vanderpump Rules‘ ladies were all A-types, lived in NYC, considered GOOP their Bible and planned a wedding for their Bridezilla bestie!
I could only take this satire in small doses, but when I picked it up, it never failed to make me laugh. Oh the cluelessness! 🤦♀️

I bought myself a kindle for my birthday. I‘m so excited! Any kindle tips I should know about? Also, the tagged book is so ridiculous so far, but it is a nice break from studying.
My current read! #boutofbooks #yearofmarvellousreading
SO FUN. Seriously, I cracked up the whole time. Definitely a ‘devour in one sitting‘ book.
This is a pic of the OG girls from my book club at tonight‘s Christmas party. We‘ve grown to around a consistent 10 over this past year but this is the original crew. These girls came into my life just when I needed them the most! The tagged book is awful- only two from the whole crew managed to finish but we will still meet later this week to b*tch about it and drink 😂 📖 🍷
Enjoyed a little fluff this morning with my coffee.
This story is completely ridiculous. It‘s the emails between eight women over one year while one of them plans a wedding. Quick, easy, silly read.
This book is ridiculous, but I am this girl.
No you don‘t need an emergency contact for me if I don‘t respond about your wedding planning. I‘m just busy. ✌🏼
Hey Ladies chronicles the emails and text messages of 8 fictional friends. This book is mostly laugh-out-loud funny, but I am oh so grateful I don‘t have friends like these. 😆
Instead of reading a book which is so “old media,” and since print is dying (sorry Katie :-/), what if we all read Brooklyn magazine and then got together and discussed it? I really think it would help all of you understand me better and get where I‘m coming from
I‘m friggin dying. This book is killing me but in a good way??? I‘m just cringing and smiling like an idiot. I was kinda pissed my library only had it as an overdrive book, but I pulled out my old iPad and I‘m trying out reading right from Libby for the first time.
picked up a hold from the library & dropped by Davids Tea to get some new tea 📖📚🍵
I always hate giving negative reviews of books, especially when it has nothing to do with the writing style and is more personal opinion, but I hated this book. I didn‘t find it funny at all, and if anything it just stressed me out. Every character is an entitled, self-centered, & horrendous person. Everyone is fake and it hurts my heart to realize how many people are actually like this. I truly hope none of you have friends like this.
I swear I have a sense of humor!
But this book was simply not for me 😕
I went into this thinking it was a nonfiction title... possibly a memoir... but was sorely disappointed when I began to notice a pattern with the characters (i.e. caricatures of lousy female stereotypes), figured out it was satire, and then noticed the spine label on this library loan.
Made it all the way to page 27 of 274 and then promptly abandoned it.
Excited to start this funny book! I‘ve heard lots of good things, and I‘m ready for a reading palate cleanser.
It‘s such a fun guilty pleasure. It‘s like watching a Bravo Housewives. Definitely not a thinker but a good book club pick.
Interesting book so far! Written entirely in emails and texts. Have you read it yet? What did you think?
#nyc visit today and of course had to visit the mothership (The Strand). Here's my #bookhaul 😁 #thestrand #strand #strandbooks @strandbookstore
This was a cute, quick read told all in the form of emails/texts between 8 friends over the course of a year of wedding planning for one of their own. Pure satirical fun, though you may experience flashbacks if you‘ve ever been on an email chain like theirs 😜
Super creative storytelling, told through email and text messages. If you‘ve ever been part of a group email, or you hang with a bunch of super intense, self centered people this book will have you laughing out loud!!! It was the perfect antidote to all my heavy reading🍷Thank you #Hoopla 🙌🏻
3.5/5
This is a light, fun story told entirely through email chains and group text messages between a group of friends over the course of a wild year.
It's not something I would usually read, but I was feeling a little burnt out on genre fiction, and this was a great read to change things up.
This book was fun, and I loved the creative format! It actually had a more cohesive story than I expected; I found myself really getting invested in certain characters, rather than just enjoying the humor. Also, it was pretty much the perfect lead-up to the Royal Wedding 😂
This book is HYSTERICAL. If you‘ve ever been on a group email about planning anything you must read this. You‘ll thank me later.
I was cackling!! These women do remind me of my friends from college. You know the ones you want to strangle but are also your soulmates? I snorted at one of the girls book club suggestion.
I was in an Amazon hole and found this one. Its so cute and I love the drawings.
This was so cute and funny. Have to say I was glad this was not my group of friends, but it was fun taking a peek in.
This looks so cute. This book is all in email and texts.
HEY YOURSELF!
I pre-ordered this months ago--cannot wait to dig in tonight!
