For my book club on Habitica. So far it's entertaining but not in any way new or original in feel? Feels like it's riding on the coat tails of Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, Firefly, etc etc etc.

Nika Rik Terri is on the run from a company that wants to use her body exchanger. She was planning on leaving here abusive boyfriend, so this just gives her one more reason to run. Meanwhile, Josune Arriola is on a ship with Captain Hammond Roystan on a special mission, and runs afoul of the same company. Inventive SF with shades of Firefly, but the plot becomes chase scene after chase scene, and I just wanted to see a little more development.

Starting the clock on this weekend‘s #24in48 readathon with S. K. Dunstall‘s upcoming release, Stars Uncharted. This‘ll be my first time reading this writing duo of Australian sisters and I‘m super excited!

Awesome. This book has a Firefly feel of found family and scrapes that require blowing things up. There was just enough action throughout the story for it never to get slow. Also, enough character to building to feel invested. The end left felt satisfying but left enough loose threads for a series. #FirsttoRead #ARC #2018christyread
