Our pretty tree! Another great brain break…this collection of comics looks at a humorous dystopian Earth where all the men have died. Who says women aren‘t funny?? 🤣🤣

More silly than social commentary, but enjoyable overall. As much about every day moments between people, personal growth, as the emergence of a new community.
A new entry for the 'two kinds of people' meme.
Though I guess the third kind is the one that doesn't mind being stuck inside when it's raining, curling up with a good book...😉
Some of it was funny, but it was also disjointed and hard to follow at times.
Something happened to human genetics that caused all babies born to be female. Now the world belongs to women, because men have gone extinct.
There are some funny moments in some of these comics. I definitely chuckled a few times. Overall I don‘t think it was memorable though.

I read 8 books in January (4 audiobooks, 4 physical books). My favourite was Woman World, but none of these books really wowed me. #JanuaryStats #JanuaryWrapUp
A world without men!? This graphic novel had me laughing throughout the entire story.
ooh! nifty filter!
this graphic novel was funny, sweet, cute, clever. my fave character is def Emiko. she is hilarious. all of my LOLs were related to her shenanigans.
Here‘s our (highly requested) list of graphic novel staff picks! 📚🙌 Some people don‘t even consider reading graphic novels because they have false assumptions about them. Trust us—they‘re well worth the read; you just have to find which ones are right for you! Hint: start with one of these 😏.
Men have become extinct. In Woman World, the exclusively female community re-learns how to connect to each other, form and maintain relationships, and manage society on their own terms. Although at times too brief in its exploration of ideas for my liking, Dhaliwal is able to spotlight some really sharp observations about the way women think and act, and the role that our power relationship with men has in developing such patterns of behaviours.
This was a fun, quirky read. What WOULD the world be like if all the men disappeared??
😂😂
Great trip to the book store yesterday. Four incredible books and an adorable book bag.
To each his own. This was not my thing.
Men become extinct and women sit around worrying about romantic relationships and periods.
Yes, there was more to it but I had a hard time getting past these parts.
Book 108/165 3/31/19
Interesting (if not original) premise; nice artwork; gently humorous; post-apocalyptic, man-free, feminist utopia.
The positive presence of a trans woman was welcome, the absence of non-binary people bemusing - given the scenario it feels like a chance missed.
All things considered, a good book, which I'll undoubtedly read again. 3.5/5 🌟
This was such a funny, insightful read! I devoured it in about an hour or two.
A collection of cartoons that form a thoughtful post-apocalyptic tale of life without men. It‘s an ethnically diverse community, plus the mayor is a nudist, the matriarch is a trans woman, the youngest have never known men, and everyone‘s challenges are mainly to do with relationships and daily life. Hilarious and charming #graphicnovel.
It was as though mother nature had craftily picked the most inconvenient time to show her strength.
Layla: What if we stopped imagining it and did it … You said it would be amazing.
Lara: I specifically meant the imagining part.
Laugh out loud funny. I do wish it had a little bit more flow to the story, but there is a little girl who is obsessed with Paul Blart in this world where men are extinct and I can‘t stop laughing.
This frustrating situation applies to so many situations. Ugh.
Very entertaining comic with many humorous moments. I just wish it had a streamlined story instead of so many vignettes.
I absolutely loved this book!! Men go extinct and the world is all women. What else can I say?! Perfect!! Lol ( j/k- maybe) #sorrynotsorry This is one of the best parts of the book. The only male reference they have is a DVD of Paul Blart Mall Cop, lol. Sooo hilarious and funny, and actually not insulting to men. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏽👍🏽❤️😍✌🏽😂
#currentreads #libraryhaul One to help with essay questions for an IT program I am trying to get in to. 🙏🤞🏽🤞🏽 The other 2 have the feminist vibe I have been trying to keep lately ( besides the cat astronauts, lol)
These are by far my favourite reads so far in the #readathon. #recommended #hour16 @deweysreadathon #womanworld #fiercefairytales
Woman World is Fabulous!!! Made me laugh out loud so many times! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I took a break on the weekend and binged this graphic novel in one sitting. It is hilarious and awesome and even has a couple Die Hard jokes.
Highly recommended!
