suvata @BookingitwithSandra I had it made at https://www.decalgirl.com. It‘s not a case, it‘s a skin (vinyl sticker). They have a ton of very nice premade ones. I created my own from an image of all my 5-star reads. 1y

My son gifted me a Kindle Oasis. There‘s no place for headphones. What is your favorite inexpensive Bluetooth headphones, earbuds?

Laney1733 I have some LETSCOM ear buds I ordered from Amazon a few months ago that work great with my phone. I've only used them for audio books, no music. I haven't tried them with my Oasis either. I think they were around $20. 5y

Loving my new Kindle Oasis! Just arrived Friday and now packed with books. You wouldn‘t think the little upgrades (page turn buttons, adjustable light) would make a big difference, but they do. Really love the more ergonomic design: much easier to hold than the Paperwhite.

I traded in my 2016 Oasis for the new one that came out yesterday. Just finished setting it up. I like the shape and the fact that the Oasis has buttons for page turning.

rretzler I‘ve been debating the Oasis, but I don‘t think I could get used to the one side being bigger than the other. I tend to switch sides when holding my Paperwhite. 5y

nitalibrarian @rretzler - if you flip the Oasis, the screen flips too, so you can hold the bigger side in either hand. I like being able to switch hands too. 5y

rretzler Ooh - I didn‘t know that. That‘s really handy! I may have to check it out after all. Of course, now that I have the waterproof Paperwhite that can play audiobooks, I‘m not quite as interested in getting a different Kindle. The page turn buttons would be a plus. (edited) 5y

Calling all Kindle Oasis users!

The new 2019 refresh for the Oasis comes out later this month. I'm a 1st Gen paperwhite user that is thinking about upgrading.

Is it worth it? I mean, my paperwhite works just fine, but...well...the Oasis is shiny and I kind of want it. It's rather pricey though. I'm not worried about if I'll use it or not...of course I will...alot...but is it a noticeable upgrade? Will I regret spending the money?

What say you?

Ashley_Nicoletto I purchased the last Kindle Oasis and didn‘t like it immediately. I ended up returning it for a kindle paper white. I had trouble with the ergonomic design. It didn‘t fit in my hand well and made it uncomfortable for me to hold. Otherwise, I thought it was pretty impressive. 5y

intothehallofbooks I got one about three months ago after having a paperwhite since it came out. I love it so much. It took a few minutes to get used to the design but it works for me. Expensive but I love all of the features and personally have zero regrets. For me, it‘s all in the details: the screen features, the ways you can turn the page, the way you hold it, the screen accommodates flipping between left and right hand, things like that. 5y

intothehallofbooks As a person that listens to audio + reads kindle at the same time *often* I can see where the Audible integration can be improved. But even this part is a really cool feature for audio listeners because we didn‘t have that at all on the paperwhite. (edited) 5y

My husband just walked in and tossed this on the bed. He said it is a combo Mother‘s Day/selling our house/birthday gift. The problem is to save money we haven‘t been doing gifts for each other. I am touched and floored and hesitant to even open it he said as much as I read I deserve it 🥺
