pick🎧 I really thought the ending was going to be different.
It‘s so short (3 hours or 205 pages) that I can‘t really say much without spoiling it.
A 26 year happy marriage. Do you ever truly know someone? A couple twists & turns. 2 grown kids out of the house. A CPA husband & loving wife. What could go wrong?

I listened to this novella. Stephen King is a skilled storyteller, but he's misogynistic. The narrator exacerbates the problem as she reads the misogynistic parts in a whiney voice. ⭐⭐⭐
pickFinished this one yesterday when I was doing laundry :) so so good! Greatly enjoyed it :)

pickWhat defines a “good” marriage? Darcy and her husband have a good marriage - 20+ years. One night when he‘s out of town, she stumbles upon a hidden box that makes clear some secrets he has that are too horrifying to forget. I love Darcy‘s inner dialogue between regular good-wife Darcy and suspicious realistic Darcy. Another King page turner!

Just Downloaded this one from Hoopla :) It is a short listen (3 hours) so.. I am gong to tackle this one today while I am doing my laundry -- more than likely will end up finishing it today :)

so-soThis was a quick (3 hour) audiobook. The story was interesting, but the narrator wasn‘t my favorite. She reminded me of Shelley Duvall in the Shining.

pickA mini-collection of two novellas, “A Good Marriage” and “1922.” Both good stories, depending more on psychological suspense than gore for the horror content. “A Good Marriage” will make you paranoid about whether your spouse has a secret life! Warning: DO NOT read “1922” if you have a phobia about rats. Just don‘t do it. The rats keep reappearing all through the story and it‘s super creepy. I‘m glad I read this.It‘s been awhile since I read King.
pickI really enjoyed listening to this short story on audio. It clocked in a little over three hours, so it was quick. The premise was both interesting and frightening. I recommend this story.
pickThe story was great but the the narration was not that great. I found it tough to keep on listening, but I had to know what happened to Darcy. While I will say it's a "pick" I give the audio a "so-so." #Hoopla #Audiobook #Litsyloveslibraries
I don't think I'm liking the narration for this one. SK is usually great at picking his narrators so I'm hoping it gets better. #audibook

pickwow very interesting. a little dark and kind creepy but it has heart and lots of feels an easy listen . I like this straight to it Stephen King so much easier to finish.
Did this quick listen while cleaning house today. (3hours) I must say , the movie was far better. The book has no detail whatsoever
