This was my second read of this book & for a YA book, it‘s very creepy.

pickThis was a reread as I first read it in 2016. It was just as creepy the second time around. 5🌟
TW: quite graphic violence, mention of animal abuse.
1. I usually do but I haven't done one this year yet!
2. I've never seen a white pumpkin before 😱 So I'll have to say orange 🤣

Old secluded schoolhouse. ✔️ Haunted vintage porcelain dolls. ✔️ MAJOR creep factor. ✔️ I loved every second of it.
pickHorror is not my usual genre, but I threw this one into the mix for a quick, spooky Halloween read and it really fit the bill. Creepy as f*ck!

pickAs we leave that time of year when the Halloween buzz is dying down and the Christmas spirit is rising, this book seemed like the perfect balance I needed. I‘ve got to admit I worried that a horror book would be slow or difficult to get into but I was shaking and on the verge of tears within the first ten pages. I couldn‘t put it down. Meaning I stayed up until 2am to finish it (bad idea, very spooky). Not for the faint hearted. 🔪❄️💀

I hate snow.
I won‘t be finishing Iron Gold today, because this $*#&%*$*$ cold front bringing snow to my city is triggering a migraine complete with blinding aura. I‘m headed back to bed. Wake me when May gets here.
pickI ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED THIS BOOK! It's been a long time since a book scared the hell out of me.
If you're looking for some creepy/scary reads for the coming Halloween, then I highly recommend this book. It has evil dolls, ouija, haunted house on top of a cliff, spirits, and a lot more.
The prequel, "Charlotte Says", will be out tomorrow (Sept 7) so don't forget to add it on your tbr list as well.

Honestly, I loved this book. Creepy children, satanic dolls and needles in eyeballs...this is one good horror book! It was fast-paced and engulfed me right into the action. The characters were interesting and the story behind the Frozen Charlotte Dolls were amazing. I will be reading the prequel to this book as well! pickI wasn't sure if I was going to be too interested in this book, however, I am so glad I found it at the library and gave it a chance! I was constantly on the edge of my seat and couldn't put the book down. My only suggestion would be to avoid reading it just before bed. I read it in one sitting because I wanted to finish reading it as soon as possible. Frozen Charlotte may give you nightmares, but it's worth it!

I just stumbled on Frozen Charlotte at Barnes and Noble (love the cover!) and had to have it! I read the first 30 pages in the store and just got it today from Amazon (so much cheaper). And I figured it was time to read those Six of Crows books....I love #bookmail !!!!
pickbooks don't normally freak me out but this one did. I was surprised to find out that it's considered a YA book. I was jumpy every time I picked it up to read.
right from the first two chapters this book draws you in and there's twists and turns all the way through so your constantly confused about who to trust
really good book and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a horror story
So grateful to WHSmith for sending me the #ZoellaBookClub books plus some extra cool stuff! I've already loved IIWYG and 12 Days... Next up feels like it should be Frozen Charlotte, with Halloween coming soon (although I'm not good with horror and it sounds TERRIFYING - wish me luck please!!)
