Visiting family and obviously the Book Barm was on my must-do list. I loved the labels on these poetry shelves, and I *think* I can fit all my new books in my (probably very heavy) carry-on 😅

Since my husband is glued to the couch now that football season has arrived, I treated myself to an outing at The Book Barn —more than 500,000 used books from which to choose. 🥰 (I only brought home 5. 😀) Then I got a pina colada smoothie. I think this football thing is going swimmingly. For me, anyway. 🙂
Excellent haul at The Book Barn a few days ago!! It's one of our favorite places to travel to but I didn't have any print copies to sell back! 😵💫 #Bookspin hasn't been going as well as I'd like! Haha
Thanks for the #20KGiveaway, @BennettBookworm —and the work of gathering a list of Littens‘ favorite bookstores! What a great idea. I cheated and picked two —one is my local indie in Madison, CT; and the other is the largest used bookstore in New England (more than 500,000 books!) which is located less than 5 miles from my house in Niantic, CT. It‘s an embarrassment of riches! New books? Used books? I love them both.
Book barn is making a “bitey bus” 🧛♀️🚌 where all the paranormal romance/urban fantasy lives. Found some goodies!
Thank you to everyone on here who has suggested a stop at The Book Barn! What a fun stop!

Welp, I totally struck out at The Book Barn in terms of finding books for my #HauntedHollowSwap match & my #BasicWitchSwap match. But I got a stack of books for myself (of course 😅) & spent a pleasant afternoon wandering the grounds.
I always appreciate their signage. And the employees‘ conversation about elves & dwarves, which I overheard upon leaving, was a true nerdy delight.
This used book store was an EXPERIENCE. Cats, goats, neverending books, always stocking the shelves, a gardens, room after room, building after building.
I love this place (and my fun pink hair)
Today‘s very restrained book haul from The Book Barn. I am now looking for the remaining two in the Cazalet series to match these three.
The Book Barn gets it. 👍🏼
Mask up, all you cats and kittens!
Took a drive today to The Book Barn and sold a bunch of stuff! $32 later and a few hours and this is my haul, excluding my husband's and my kids' books! I even got my cranky 11 year old 2 books and he hates reading! 😂 #quarantinereads #Coronapocalypse #supportsmallbusiness #independantbookstores
Son #2 stopped into town for a visit — and what‘s on his must-do list? Why, a trip to the Book Barn, of course!
Another successful visit to The Book Barn & Chapter 3 #bookhaul
Book haul! Couldn‘t resist stopping at The Book Barn in Niantic on the way home. #bookhaul #ctshoreline
A lovely Sunday afternoon spent browsing at The Book Barn. I love this place not only for the stacks and stacks of books—I also love their snarky sense of humor.
Are you finding everything okay? Our staff is ready to assist you. Payment is in the form of chin scratches and belly rubs.

#BFC round 2 day 1: walking around the Book Barn. I budgeted myself $20 for books today but I‘ve got to get my steps in to buy anything (the pressure!) i also just downloaded Wizards Unite to help with those steps. Go #teamlitnfit !!
