I have finally finished New Moon!!! The only reason it took me so long to finish this book is because my grandma fell and fractured her hip and had to have surgery. Now I am taking care of her. I took my time reading the book and enjoyed it more. I also annotated the book too. It is a guilty pleasure for me. I rated the book a 4 out of 5 stars!

I liked this book just as much as the first. Who knew that I would be hooked on a vampire and werewolf story. I really loved Bella and Jacob‘s relationship. Although, I was still in Edwards corner as her Romeo. Also, poor Charlie. He has no idea all the danger his daughter is in on a regular bases. He is just trying his best. I really love Bella and Charlie‘s relationship too. Can‘t wait to read the next book.

The first time I read this book it made me so emotional, I vowed never to read it again. That was a little over a decade ago. This is the first time I‘ve read it since then. It gave me a new perspective than before. I enjoyed it more this time around. It was definitely exciting to read it again. I can wait to read the rest of the series again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didn‘t think I was going to enjoy a book from the Twilight saga with little to no Edward in it but, to my surprise, I enjoyed this one better than the first! I was especially shocked from the amount of detail Stephenie Meyer was able to add into the already deep plot. Would 100% recommend.

I felt I spent a lot of time shaking my head whilst reading this, but it's just so darn readable. 4🌟

Wow! This book had me shaking my head at the melodramatics and I was a bit disappointed in Meyers light approach to suicide. Yet, I felt this was a nice add to the series, really focusing on Jacob, giving more light into the werewolves. Ready for the last two novels!

New Moon (Meyer): He made a disgusted sound. "I don't envy him the GIRL - just the ease of the suicide," he clarified in a teasing tone.

Really enjoying the turn #NewMoon took! I feel this one focuses much more on Jacob and his werewolf pack. I didn't expect to enjoy this series as much as I am. Fun, easy, adventurous read, that gives a great spin to some of the worlds oldest monsters ... vampires and werewolves.

After reading Twilight, I had to dive deeper into this series (I'm set on finishing it) and I am hooked! I don't want to continue, but I also can't seem to turn away. I'm getting some mild Dawson's Creek vibes too ... Will it be Dawson or Pacey? Will it be Edward or Jacob? My inner angsty teen approves.

The function of a heart, whether beating or not has such strange powers to feel so full or so empty.

Bella experiencing what I could only imagine as the most painful and lonely breakup got me buckled onto her rollercoaster, unconsciously bringing my heart with me for the ride.

It was okay. I just felt obligated to read it since I'm a youth services librarian. I'll probably finish the series at some point.

Not overly entertaining (not the best book in the saga) but Chapter 23 is PHILOSOPHICALLY RICH and I can‘t stop thinking about immortality.

Managed to get a bit done in my #BujoXmasSpread tonight. Was #audiojournaling along to the New Moon audiobook, after reading Midnight Sun I figured I should go back & reread the rest🤗 Still got a ways to go yet, both with the audiobook & my journal. I‘ll get there before 2021! 1pt for Team #MerryReaders

Re-read: I didn‘t like this one as much - Bella was very annoying (just the way she treats everyone is extremely self-centered), but it still was a rather fun read :)

I think that Bella has taught me the most in this book. She taught me to stay loyal to my true friends. She taught me to support my companions even in the times we aren't the closest. She cared for her father, Jacob, and Alice without a second thought and was always willing to put others before herself. She learned to love others in spite of their mistakes and did anything possible to help those she loved.

5/5 ⭐️ This isn't my favorite book of the series, but I still love it. Lots of depression after Edward leaves. But every moment with Jacob makes it better! ☀️

This story teaches us to stay close to our true friends, for they can cheer us up when we are down and provide a sense of stability. This story teaches us this lesson by grouping Jacob and Bella together as they form an unbreakable bond. The story also teaches the characters to trust each other with all their problems and secrets. When an individual goes through a rough time in their life, they will always have a friend there for them.
