Repeating part of my review I wrote when I read this the first time: A light read about Botswana‘s only lady detective, Precious Ramotswe, who is just a million ways delightful and clever. I want to be her friend and hire her to handle all my investigations.

I‘m sure there are some that will find this hysterical. For me, it‘s okay. I‘m not the biggest fan of Black‘s comedy, so I‘m not the right reader for this. I can see kids adoring it, however. #BBRC #PictureBook #LetterN

The herd of monsters are coming and it‘s not what you expect on Halloween. They are coming to eat the little kids!! So our two little heroes must find a way to save themselves. A super cute book!

A young boy is rather disappointed to receive a book as a birthday present. Then, he receives a visit from the NYPL lion Fortitude, and goes on an adventure to the library. This one gave me all of the emotions and is such a wonderful love letter to libraries and the magic of books. I read this to a few of my lions. 😁

Unhei‘s family recently moved to the United States from Korea, and she‘s worried that no one will be able to pronounce her name and will not be able to make friends. This is a story about family, heritage, and friendship. It‘s a beautiful story too about acceptance and belonging.
