A Discworld short story about poo, a young man that finds it fascinating and all the good and bad that can be accomplished with it, with the Discworld twists, of course. Not great for me, but I could see it being quite good for a very young person learning to not be grossed out by nature, and how well nature recycles things. Probably very good for the potty training age group.

Soubhiville While I understand why he wrote this book, I have to admit I didn‘t care for it. One of the few by him that just wasn‘t for me. 3y

BookmarkTavern It might be because I read it to an almost six year old, but I did actually enjoy this one. My nibling had so many questions as we read the book, and they loved the illustrations. 3y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I‘m behind with this one, it took me awhile to track down a copy of this short story about poo, a young man that finds it fascinating & all the good and bad that can be accomplished with it, with the Discworld twists, of course. I‘m sure great if read with young, potty training kids. 2y

When Geoffrey is sent to stay with his grandmother as his family gets ready for a new baby, he discovers the wild and marvelous world of poo.

This was a charming tale to read to my nibling! In Pratchett fashion, the footnotes are at times longer than the chapters, but the story is informative and delightful. And Geoffrey is surrounded by adults who support and encourage him. ❤️ Even in such an unusual hobby. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

My 4 year olds 'big boy books' book shelf. He's zooming through the reading set him at school, so I now regularly sit with him and encourage him to read a page or 2 of these books. World of poo was a particular favourite of his!
