My #Bookspin book this month is Going Rogue, no 29 in the Stephanie Plum series but I realised I hadn‘t read no 28 yet so I settled down with that instead. Stephanie gets involved in a murderous entanglement between rival computer hackers, one of whom has plans that rival the schemes of the villains in superhero movies! It was a fun quick read, more enjoyable than many of the more recent books in the series.

Another good one from the series. Loved seeing Diesel again since it has been awhile since she wrote one in his series. Had all the funny zingers, Lula moments, and other elements that keep me liking the series. Light easy read. Laugh out loud funny.
Somehow this was my first book of 2023. 🤷 Maybe that's a clue that this will be a fun year. Rolling with it.

Brought this to the nail salon and read during my pedicure. A little more reading at home and I‘m done with my #doublebookspin I‘m almost done with my #bookspin as well! @TheAromaofBooks
Stephanie Plum did not disappoint with this one. I enjoy her antics and the colorful cast of characters in her life.
As always, a great series to relax and just be entertained.
It was a typical Stephanie Plum book, so of course I loved it. Not enough Morelli and Ranger tho. Or Grandma Mazur. But still good.
It has been a really rough couple of weeks. I decided a rest day from the gym and an evening of reading was in order. Starting a book I‘ve been waiting to read…my brain candy.
I really like this series so was excited for a new book. This one was good, but not the best. I didn‘t have any laugh out loud moments like I usually do. And what‘s with “pleasure facilitator”? When did Lula stop saying she used to be a “ho”? Still some fun moments and I do like Diesel. Although I don‘t know why Wulf was even in this one.
Stephanie Plum is back trying to catch a computer hacker who has gone off the rails. Diesel is looking for the same guy, so they team up to try to capture him. Lula had lost her mojo, and Grandma is taking up computer hacking. I laughed out loud a couple of times, and the story was fast and entertaining. This is a must read series for me, and I enjoyed this latest book. But I can admit that the books aren‘t what they used to be. Still ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Received this for Christmas from my hubby. This series is a must read for me. The quality of the stories has diminished a bit, but after 28+ books (including the “between the numbers novellas) over nearly as many years, I have to see it through. I love Stephanie Plum and her silly gang of cohorts. ❤️📚
As usual, scenes with Lula and Grandma Mazur are the high points. Not the best of the series, but still a fast and fun read.

I made it to the end. It wasn‘t terrible but also it kind of was? Not a fan of Diesel or his cousin, Wulf, who literally disappears in a cloud of green smoke not once but twice. I remember when this series wasn‘t afraid of the occasional f-bomb - but now it‘s fudge or heck…
I back the Buick out of the garage and Diesel hopped in. “I feel like I‘m in a Travolta movie,” he said. “We could make babies on this front seat.”
“You know nothing,” I said. “The backseat is the baby maker.”
Diesel watched me struggle to get the needle into the loop. “My standards aren‘t always that high for romantic partners, but you‘re on the borderline for not making the grade,” he said.
“You don‘t understand the nuances of knitting. It can be a reflection of life.”
Diesel was slouched back in his chair, grinning. “I take it all back. You‘re incredibly loveable when you‘re earnest. What are you knitting?”
126 pages in before Ranger makes an appearance…
Screaming and crying because it was only a phone call and I‘m not convinced that it counts.
Why is Diesel in this??? Can we not have nice things?
21 #86 Without a doubt my favorite series. Stephanie Plum never disappoints.
This one is the latest in the Stephanie Plum series, now veering away from using the number titles. (Exciting development!) Diesel returns in this one and Lula has some great lines, as usual. It‘s typical for the series, so fun but a bit repetitive.
Diesel returns so there is less Morelli & Ranger page time. I‘d read a reverse harem fanfic version of Stephanie Plum. It was the usual fluff and shenanigans but an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. It‘s probably only 🔫🔫🔫 but an extra 🔫 for Grandma and because it‘s consistently fun.
Started it like three hours ago, already almost done. A ride as always, and as predictable as always, but still thoroughly entertaining. 😂 #temptingtwentyeight #janetevanovich #stephanieplum
Here‘s my reading update. I finished my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin books for November 🤓
I‘m also going to join @MatchlessMarie for her #33by33 readathon 11/11 - 11/15 💙

I haven't read one of the books in this series since the 18th, but when I was offered an advance copy I decided to dive back in. I would classify the book as a comedic thriller. It was a light, fun read and the equivalent of chick lit for mystery or thriller fans. I gave it 3.5/5 stars...like cotton candy...not much there but still tasty!
