This is still a favorite. The most strikingly part is that we really discover that Holmes is physically strong. I think it's hinted out elsewhere, particularly with Watson's mention of his stamina and ability to traipse everywhere when he's on to something. This has more of Poe's Purloined Letter feel to and seems like one where the reasoning is more easily followed. #Sherlocked

@Kathrin reminded me of this one, which if really should be next so either this story or the Adventure of the Engineer's Thumb are next and given how short they are I don't think it matters too much which you read first. I can't believe I skipped this one as it's one of my favorite Sherlock stories. #Sherlocked

Ruri_kaichou @KCorter it's so fun and challenging. I read up to where I'm supposed to and I'm 80% done with the puzzle but I have no clue what the answer is. I'm so bad at solving mysteries 7y

KCorter That makes it more fun! I love being surprised in a mystery! Not duped of course, but the fun of a mystery is trying to see if you guessed correctly. I don't mind being wrong. Sometimes that means the author is especially talented. From what I've read of Sherlock Holmes, that seems to be the case. :) 7y
