#SurvivingDecember Anytime I #needcalm I pick this one up! As a Potter fan girl, I love the idea of there being wizarding fairy tales just like I was read Cinderella! It's a good warm fuzzy book for kids and adults alike. I have some great memories of reading this to my godchildren and hope to read it to my niece soon! Cute picture added of my godson blowing kisses to my sister ❤️

Pride and Prejudice | Austen

A little late for this one, but when I #NeedCalm , one of my go to books is Pride and Prejudice. Why? I think I read this so many times I have sections memorized! It‘s like visiting an old friend, something familiar. It also helps to reaffirm my adoration for Mr Darcy. 😉#survivingDecember

Flipping Brilliant: A Penguin's Guide to a Happy Life | Jonathan Chester

When I #NeedCalm, anything with penguins usually helps. I also turn to my favourite poetry anthology (not in Litsy's database yet) and I sometimes like to read the daily meditations in books like 365 Tao. #SurvivingDecember
