I loved this movie as a child and upon realizing it was a book, I was very eager to see how the differed. There were many differences but the essential of the story was the same: a magical car creating magical adventures. It was a short listen but enjoyable.

He writes about the rise and fall of some political figures (Koch, Bloomberg, Giuliani, Trump), the movement of the art/artists around the city, Black culture and the hip hop scene, and gay culture and the AIDS epidemic. New York is a place of constant change and rebirth, and this book captures it well. #audiobook

Centique @Cinfhen yes we‘re in a level 3 stage 1 lockdown now😂😂 that‘s how complicated it is. Hopefully retail opens next week though - but not gyms or hairdressers. I‘m very lucky because we have an office just 5 mins from our house so since restrictions eased we can work from there again - let‘s us spread out a bit. I get to see Dad on Monday for the first time in 12 weeks cos the rest home is letting me take him to his hospital appointment. 3y
