#LilithJuly Day 30: #WhiteFlag, Surrender, Peaceful dreams. Fats‘ review: “The book is divided into four chapters: 1) cruel war; 2) the day they killed my house; 3) my nightmare; and 4) when I close my eyes I dream of peace. There were a total of 32 artworks and 17 lyrical texts shared by children between the ages of 5 and 14.” All done by children from Yugoslavia. Full review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-871
I‘m still giving stuff up, but I‘m totally in for this too! 👏🏻 📖

Jenna Bush Hager tells the story of a girl she met during her work with UNICEF. Ana was born HIV positive after being infected by her mother. She was orphaned, abused, and still she survived. It is truly a story of hope, though it‘s heartbreaking.
Does anyone else use Twitter? Specifically, will any #Littens be joining the discussion about reading slumps on #readRchat?

#Septimus sits on my lap as I check my Twitter (@bookishmarginal -- the -ia was lost to length restrictions!) -- I love our not-so-little lap kitty!
Hi, dear Littens who tweet! I've just opened a new book-related Twitter with the handle bookishmarginal (missing the final -ia due to length restrictions) because my gmcustodio account is now all politics and education. This one will be book-centric. If you care to check it out, here's the link: https://mobile.twitter.com/BookishMarginal
