I'm trying to read so many books this month. I'm not really sure why I'm setting the bar so high, but here's my 1st book for Dec. I'm just about out of Trixie books and am going to have to scour the Internet for the rest of the series. This one had an absurd chapter involving a burned field of marijuana, which left the kids smelling like they'd been smoking it. Dan confronting Trixie and Honey for smoking pot was not something I was expecting! 😆

Finished last weekend for #BobWhiteBuddies Book 19 has summer holidays starting & a new mystery or mysteries for Trixie & the gang to solve. This one stays close to home with the Bob-Whites helping out a neighbor whose garden business is being sabotaged. There‘s also stolen mail & of all things ***BIG spoiler alert*** a hidden marijuana field & it made me laugh that when it is burnt to hide the evidence, the gang ⬇️

The Bob Whites get swept into another mystery when someone attempts to sabotage widowed Mrs Elliot‘s flower selling. Everything becomes worse when it seems her stepson knows more than he‘s telling.

A very interesting, more personal mystery. Trixie & the gang help out a neighbor, make some new friends, Dan gets to shine, & things don‘t always go right w/ the investigation, but the whole team always operates w/ good intentions.🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

My mood is sad that weekends are too short & it‘s another busy week cumulating in a 2-day retreat meeting that I‘m not looking forward to at all, but maybe that will make the week go by more quickly. 😬

I never got to my October recap nor have I finished all my October reviews but I wanted to get this posted finally. Finished 16 books & a short story, started one more & got further in Women Who Run With the Wolves (I‘m still way behind).

The lucky grasshopper weather vane has vanished from Town Hall! It‘s up to the Bob Whites to figure out where it went & why.

I liked this one a lot! Trixie & Honey use their detective skills, go to the adults when appropriate, the adults listen (!). A bit predictable, but an unexpected twist I had forgotten. I did start to get a little tired of Thesaurus Mart, & I think this one is a new ghost writer because we start w/ a long summary! 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

I liked this one well enough. I like that it centered around someone the kids saw at school. Even if, at this point, any new people in Sleepyside pretty much have to be involved in whatever crime has been committed, I still like it best when the books are set there. I was happy for Bobby getting to ride like the big kids. #bobwhitebuddies
