Bookwormjillk One of my earliest memories is asking my Dad what he was reading and him teaching me what rabies was....

I thought this was okay, but it dragged a bit. I'm pretty sure I've read it before, but didn't remember much. 2w

BookwormAHN I remember reading this in 4th grade and the first few pages terrified me but I also remember me and my mother getting in an argument on how to spell damn and me showing it to her in the book 😸 2w

BookwormAHN I also agree that this is the most realistic of his terrors and all dogs should be vaccinated for rabies. 2w

KathyWheeler I ended up feeling bad for Cujo as well as for the people in this novel. It does drag a little bit though. 2w

AllDebooks This one hit me hardest. I thought the pace was goid and added to the tension. My heart broke for Cujo. I was incensed at Tad's parents for not being more supportive. Both of them had the heebie jeebies around the cupboard and noticed the awful smell. There is no rational explanation, but I would not be putting my child in that room. 2w

King is not my favourite author but I liked Cujo. First part of the book was a little boring for me and it take me a little more time to read. But the second part was really amazing.

In celebration of Stephen King's newest release, If It Bleeds, i'm ranking/reviewing all ten books of his that I've read.

How you feel about this one dependz on this: King has this habit of bloating his novels and Cujo is the best example of this. It's a novel even he himself can barely remember, thanks to his severe alcholism at the time. Cujo would have made a great short story, but at 400 pages it doesn't know how to sustain itself.
