Bruchac is such a great author, a national treasure. 🇺🇸 He brings up history in this book that I didn't learn until I was in college, but that needs to be aired and never repeated. You will go away wanting to read Thoreau. Nothing bad happens to the dog, so no trigger warnings.

This picture is too funny not to share. Last night we took Riot to the dog park. He was so excited to go and he must have had a lot of fun because when we got home I noticed he started to lick the side of this left paw. I looked at his paw and noticed his dew claw was broken and bent pointing outwards. It wasn‘t loose though. So, we called the vet and they told us he would be fine. We went elsewhere and he got it removed to help the pain and
