The same fellow who gave a presentation at the community center about cinco de mayo and the Civil War returned a couple weeks ago to talk about the Civil War‘s influence on Christmas traditions, including Santa Claus, in the United States. #StNick #DecemberDreams
Ooooh fun! I couldn‘t pass this #TLT up! I have a handful of favourite medical terms that come up frequently at work, but here are my favourite 3:
🩻Esophagogastroduodenoscopy
🩺 Choleodocholithiasis
🏥 Trichotillomania
(Special mention also goes to: Pneumoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis 🤣)

I didn‘t put two and two together that this is the same author as my current read ( We Keep The Dead Close). I love this slim volume - Cooper asked people to map their city on pre printed outlines. It‘s fascinating to see people a relationship with their space.
Unrelated to reading, but very much a part of the Humanities! I finally finished my first Bargue Drawing. Certainly an exercise in patience, I have no idea how many hours I have spent on this but I am pleased with my finished piece.
Such a gorgeous book, I felt so privileged reading Joni Mitchell‘s lyrics and poems in facsimiles of her handwriting and so many of her paintings on luscious thick art paper. A beautiful book, occasionally a challenge to read cause she does some very odd capital letters, but I was always awestruck by her mind as I was reading.
