Oooooweee I‘m in love with this series. I have a book to read for #TBRtarot, then headed right back into this world with the 3rd (and last 😢) book!

Finished this month‘s #TBRtarot right in the nick of time. This new Kuang satire? inspired by Dante‘s Inferno focuses on the perils of academia. Two students go into hell to save their professor but must go through every level. I wanted to care more about the characters but it was hard to get into. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was such a beautiful story about the power of blood, the power of women, the power of the natural world. Difficult to read in parts (please note trigger warnings), but in the end, karma won (with plenty of magical help). I loved it! #TBRtarot (book with a green and GORGEOUS cover)
This odd little book didn't entirely gel for me, but it had so many wonderful pieces that I'll call it a pick. There's a very strong sense of place, turns of phrase that made me it feel like the author was inside my brain, and some wonderful joyfulness.

So good! I blew through this audiobook in one sitting because I didn‘t want to stop listening. Loved Nora!

This was great! It had a Needful Things sort of feel to it and definitely had a uniquely monstrous villain. It was maybe a little longer than it needed to be, but overall it captivated my attention. I think this is the first horror novel by this author but I really hope he writes more! I‘ll also take a peek at some of his other novels as I really enjoyed his writing style. 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫
