This book is so funny and 100% honest! It‘s an absolute riot. You‘ll devour it in 20 minutes or less and it will leave you wanting to eat a whole pizza by the end. Highly recommend!
Love love love Murderbot. An A.I. who wants to just watch his shows and not have to deal with humans. Yet he finds himself helping them solve the murder of another survey group. Listened and read this book and really enjoyed the narration. Looking forward to getting to the rest of the series!
Read this because she‘s coming to a book festival I‘m helping run at my library and absolutely loved it! It was witty and fun and so charming. I really gotta up my Romance game!
This was such a refreshing read and with an Asian lead too! It‘s a fast paced urban fantasy/romance read and so much fun to read. Really excited to read the next book in the series! Also, Killing Eve season 1 is so good! I can‘t wait for season 2 and am looking forward to reading the books.
Forgot how good this book was. Also, just out of curiosity, any Litsy peeps in the Palm Springs, CA area?
Really enjoying this! Can‘t wait to see how it ends!
Just a bit of #latenightreading and listening! The audiobook isn‘t too bad, plus I just love listening to British accents :P
Absolutely loving this book! Can‘t believe it took me so long to get to it lol
Interesting book so far! Written entirely in emails and texts. Have you read it yet? What did you think?
First Second is one of my favorite publishers and this book did not disappoint. The graphics are in black and white but have so much depth and life in them. Sailor Twain has steamboats, mermaids, mystery and romance and is so much fun. Go check it out!
A heart-breaking but thought-provoking memoir! It‘s a quick read and great for book clubs!
Absolutely loving this book right now. I love stumbling upon a great YA book every now and then.
Don‘t remember what @bookriot article I found this book one but I am so glad I requested it. This is a beautiful fantasy novel with a strong and complex heroine. Join Melanie as she travels to Half World in an effort to rescue her mother. I won‘t tell you more than that because I‘ll spoil it. It‘s a great read and once you start, you won‘t be able to put it down!!
Love love love this book! 😍 the graphics are beautiful and the story is fantastic! First Second is one of my favorite publishers and I am quickly becoming a big fan of author Jen Wang. Go get it- borrow it from your local library or buy it - just read it!
Pop quiz! It‘s a very interesting read and though short, l feel like it‘s taking me a little while to read t because it really makes you think! :)
Did not remember at all putting a hold on this ebook but I really enjoyed this! It sucked me in right away and left me wanting more :)

“Roanoke girls never last long around here.” Enjoying this so far! What‘s everyone reading this week?
Even though it‘s a kids book, it‘s a great read for everyone!
So much fun! Anyone else read this yet? And the graphics are fantastic!!
Her stories are just written so well. I can‘t even describe how her stories make me feel when I‘m reading them. They‘re just that good!

Cheers to the weekend! What‘s everyone reading?
Absolutely loving this! What have you all been reading this weekend?
Finally getting around to this book. Good so far! What is everyone reading this weekend?
Read this for book club at work and it was fantastic! It takes a look at what's outside our resort views when we go on vacation. It explores love, homosexuality, how women can be oversexualized, the struggle to get ahead, classism and beauty standards. It's a lot I know but it is so well written. Pick it up sometime soon!
If you like Buddy the Vampire Slayer/supernatural fiction then check this one out! Girl gets a new job after moving back home. Girl finds out monsters exist. Girl helps discover a sinister plot against the city and tries to figure it all out. I don't want to give anything away so I won't say anymore except pick this book up!
What a fun and mysterious ride! The Spill Zone used to be Poughkeepsie before something weird happened overnight. You're not supposed to go in there anymore but Addie sneaks in to take pictures of the odd creatures that survive there to make money to support her sister. Her sister who survived the Spill Zone and has a weird Raggedy Ann type doll. I love mine but thank goodness it's packed away because I'd be freaked AF by it now. Check this out!
Happy 20th to the book that started it all. #harrypotter20 #litsylovesharrypotter #harrypotter
Really fun recipes! Made a sunken apple cake today! Doing it for the Food52 Baking Club.
Really enjoying this so far! Quick read too!
One of my favorites of 2017! It's a little slow going at first but this is a wonderful debut novel from Yoojin Grace Wuertz. It's about class, love, money, motherhood, & family as three young people try to change their lives in Seoul in 1978 during a time of political change and social discontent.
A little long but William Finnegan makes you want to go to the beach and watch some surfers. A really interesting memoir! A great one to read in the summer.
Monstress is so good you guys! The graphics are gorgeous and the story is so interesting. I can't wait for Volume 2. Check it out if you need a good graphic novel to read!
I feel like it's a little long but enjoying this so far! What's everyone reading this weekend?
Have you guys heard of Postepic? It's an app that lets you take a picture of a book quote and then it'll turn it into text that you can edit and then you pick a background and turn it into a fun photo! Kinda fun if you don't want to type or write out quotes you like or have a bunch of photos of quotes on your phones. Just found it! No endorsement from them, just sharing :)
Trying to finish this by Monday for a book club but not so sure. I feel like this is one that I need to take my time reading to understand it better. Thoughts from those who've read it?
A little rushed toward the end but overall I thought this was a great ending to The Lone City trilogy by Amy Ewing. I was so excited to get it, I blew through it in two days!
So many laughs with this one. Just pick it up. Sarah Andersen totally gets me. I love her drawings!
I listened to the audio version, read by Aziz Ansari, and it is fantastic! He did a really good job with his research (I think). Using focus groups and data from various social media and dating sites, he explores how romance has changed over the past few decades with the help from social media and dating apps. I will say it makes me even more nervous about dating but a great read/listen nonetheless!!
What a fantastic book! Such a great foodie memoir! The graphics as usual are fantastic and there are even recipes at the end of each chapter. Seriously, check it out!!
