I would love to hang out with Kinsey Millhone in Santa Barbara and run around solving crimes and being bad ash women. #SundayFunday
I have almost all of the series either in my Kindle or on my bookshelves. Eleven of them are in paperback format.

I like this series more and more as I go! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Still showing some dated perspectives, but also still enjoying re-reading this series. This is the one where Kinsey meets Dietz and I always wondered why Grafton didn‘t do more with him, in spite of the chemistry between them, for the rest of the series. (I think Kinsey sees him only a couple times again throughout the series).
And you get to see my current puzzle 🧩!
Now for an easy read. The one where Kinsey turns 33.
Interesting that she also has to note she‘s 118 pounds and 5‘6” 😂
Finishing out the year in cayman Brac for my friends wedding!
This is the first print book I‘ve ever read completely on my phone!
I enjoyed this more than F is for Fugitive - it was super-fast paced from the get-go and didn‘t let up. This was my second book finished for the #litsypartyofone and the #24b4monday in celebration of #mrbook1inamillion. I‘m at 8 1/2 hours already!
Maybe the greatest three sentences in the history of literature? I‘m dying laughing. 😂😂😂
I can always count on Kinsey for an entertaining mystery. This one has two stories going at once; she‘s hired to find a missing mother and someone has been hired to kill her.
Lunch today is bacon and cheese garlic fries and root beer. Hoping to get some reading done after 2 days of not reading a single page.
Tonight's tea is Caramel Shortbread from Davids Tea. It is a new favorite, very smooth. And perfect for this cold winter night. I usually like reading series books in order, but I need to read a "shoe" book for book club. So starting with G. This is my first Grafton.
Another fun mystery, although I found I was more intrigued by the case of a woman's missing vagabond mother rather than the hitman out to kill Kinsey. I would have liked to see the story about Irene and Agnes fleshed out more. Always great for filler and it's been a while since I visited with Kinsey!
Getting back to Grafton because I was supposed to have 14 elves done for my friend for Christmas. I was so disappointed in myself that I hadn't been working harder and she told me not to self-flog. I promised not to but I feel terrible so I'm going to bust them out as quickly as I can! It may not be before Christmas but it will be sooner rather than later! I'm also waiting on 4 holds from the library so Grafton is a good bet!
My husband bought me signed first edition of these two 😭💕
Loved this one in the series. Two stories in one plus Kinsey gets some lovin this time around and not from the married cop. It was definitely a page turner and was surprised with what happened with Irene's family looking forward to H

Day Three: How Have You Tried to Save a Wrecked Book?
My old neighbor (who was notoriously terrible with books) was selling some of her books. I *almost* didn‘t take this one because of the severe water damage, but I had to rescue it. I tried putting it under a huge stack of VERY heavy books. It helped, believe it or not, but it‘s still pretty bad.
Visiting with Kinsey while my Kindle charges. 😁
No one should be shocked by my rating - I love this series. I did note, though, that by reading it out of order (not by choice), I can really see a difference between the older books and newer books. Not a bad difference per se; just, you can see how Sue Grafton started developing the story lines. I think I may prefer those from the first half of the alphabet, though I will obviously read every book in this series.
Devouring this, and enjoying a bubble bath and glass of wine at the same time!
Hey guys! Look what I picked up today to add to my collection. 😁 (Yes, I know this goes against my mission to declutter, but can you really have too many books?)
I could not sleep last night so jumped back into the Kinsey Millhone series. I ended up finishing it and although I don‘t find the books to be stellar I do enjoy the breeziness of the series. #25infive
⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. My least favorite so far, because I felt the story built up this huge THING that ended up being resolved in a handful of sentences. Premise was good, but I was ultimately disappointed by the ending. I wanted to know a lot more than the answers that were given.
I always think “I will be so productive this Sunday and do ALL THE THINGS!” and ultimately this is what ends up happening. 🤷🏻♀️#dogsoflitsy #Twinkle #atoyreread
Getting some reading done on my lunch break. This bookmark was from @PolaroidPoet in my winter solstice exchange package. 😍(Not pictured: the pizza I had for lunch. 😋) #atoyreread
Another trip to the #indiebookstore today and I got a couple for my collection plus a few from my TBR. As a bonus I listened in on an author reading and also got to pet Atticus the store cat. #aprilbookshowers
#24in48 is in just a few minutes and I am ready! I'm all out of tea though which isn't great.
$13 for 11 books in 1/2 hour. I say I'm ahead. Picked up a few favorite authors, several hardcovers I like to reread and some new stuff. Plan to hit the Centenary Book Bazaar again tomorrow.
Not my favorite of the ones I've read but the addition of Dietz was muy bueno. 😎 ⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5 stars
Friend me on Goodreads so I can see what you're reading!
