This is read by Dion Graham. I love his voice. And science is always interesting to me. This Neil deGrasse Tyson dude is pretty funny. And the narrator's delivery is sort of epic.

Not Tyson's best book, but still very entertaining and informative. Parts were a little too text book like for me, and I found some of the cosmology over my head. He does always find the best narrators for his audiobooks, they seem as passionate about the subject as himself. 3 💥💥💥 1/2 out of 5.

(Disclaimer: listened to the audio) This is my second or third NdT book and I enjoy his writing very much. I also enjoy when he is the narrator of the audiobook, lending his sense of humor and voice inflection to otherwise dry material. This book was not as concise as previously read books, having a few chapters that felt more like filler material rather than important points to be made, but otherwise, very educational and mostly entertaining.

I 💜 Space. And Tyson seems like the perfect teacher of the subject. Picked this up at Book Con in June and it has been patiently waiting to be read. Hopefully by the end of the year. (Need to throw in more non-fiction to the TBR!)

Both were 5 star reads, well written, informative but not difficult, and the humor was fun too

Some essays were more engaging then others, but over all I really enjoyed these looks at science and space and discovery. Essays that covered history and how the world reacts to scientific discoveries were my favorites.

I feel a bit guilty...I do love me some NGT, and I did enjoy his quips and puns and effusive enthusiam for astrophysics, but I was only able to get about halfway through. He was definitely trying to make the subject matter relatable, but much of it was still over my head. I may be able to give it its due attention at a later point.

Neil runs the Hayden Planetarium, writes astrophysics essays, hosts Startalk, & is a sassy Tweeter. Jesse Eisenberg is best known on screen, recently as Lex Luther, but he's also written wonderful short stories that remind me of BJ Novak. Diderot is a French Enlightenment philosopher & cofounder & chief editor of the Encyclopédie. ??☄✨??

Stormy, my little reading buddy. Tom and Jerry is on tv now too, but this book is starting off great. You guys know I have the attention span of a 2 year old though. However, I am determined to finish this book! I'm going to Myopic bookstore later today here in Chicago. I can't wait!!!

I wonder is my lunch also made of stardust? Am I essentially a cannibal? Hmmm....oh & did you know when a space capsule returns to earth it's protected by plasma, this is why we can't communicate with them? Also cool, is the correction we can add to pg 150, due to Kepler there are 1284 planets now.
