My last book of 2020! Really enjoyed the article style as made it easy to read in short bites or for hrs on end. Some really interesting topics too. Looking forward to reading more by this writer
I want Caitlin Moran for my big sister and best friend. She's smart and funny and gives 'Real Talk' like no other. I'm so glad she's British. This book (and her thoughts and opinions in general) are so well considered and put in such an amazing way. She is such a good writer, I would read anything she writes.
I really expected to dislike this book after everything I‘ve heard and read about her political views and brand of feminism, but 29% in, its pretty damn entertaining, which is what I need now. #runonsentence #happyplace #ilovelitsy #litsyloveslibraries #hashtagcrazy 😜😊😊😊😊
I ❤️ Caitlin Moran. Full stop.
These essays are funny and clever. When Moran dips into politics, her ideas are bright, refreshing and thought provoking, if often pie-in-the-sky dreamy. I've been walking around with Caitlin in my head (thanks to jean pockets and headphones) for several days straight, and could listen to her for several more.
Wholeheartedly love Caitlin Moran. A gloriously quiet (minus my out loud chuckling) and happy Sunday
Caitlin is the best!!!
When in doubt, listen to David Bowie. (New tattoo idea, thanks to Caitlin Moran.) #bowielove
I was out in Peckham, London, on Saturday night and as I was waiting for my train I saw this advert for what looks like a new Caitlin Moran book! ? it reads, "Life divided into amazing enjoyable times and appalling experiences that will make future amusing anecdotes". I adore Caitlin Moran so much so of course I'm adding this to be TBR straight away! ? Has anyone else read it already? ?
Guys, this was such a fun listen. It was like a friend at a bar talking to you about all sorts of life things. This is a collection of her writing pieces for a newspaper that as an American, I don't have easy access to, so it was lovely listening to her weird, but relatable insight into things like not wanting to go out to bars when you get older, trying to be cool as a teenage girl, and so much more.
My life once again summed up beautifully by my soul sister Caitlin Moran.
I sometimes wonder how embarrassing it is to have a parent so much in the public eye...#greatdedication #riotgrams
#riotgrams #greatdedication pretty funny to me to use the dedication for this...😄I like silly things
No one ever wants to go out . . . At the point when you write down the night out in your calendar, that's the most excited you'll ever be about it. 😆😆😆
Problems with the interwebs: Dismissing people who aren't perfect. 100x this
#TBRTuesday
OK going with a less structured TBR post this week. I think it's a given that my overall TBR pile is a mountain. Here's the smaller on deck circle from which I'm planning to pick my reading this week. We'll see if I'm able to stick to it 😆
First Xmas present of the year. I am so psyched. 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Braved the snow (blah) and scored a signed copy of Moranifesto and sale copy of Something New. #success
Drove out of my way to get my hold off the bookmobile! (Tuesday is the usual day/stop by my house. 😊) I have to make sure I have enough books for the snowy weekend. Haha! #asifmyshelvesarentalreadyfull
😂😂😂😂😂
Evening plans: Desperately in need of laughs. Hoping this does the trick. 📚❤️🤘🏻
Was reading a few essays last night in the upcoming Caitlin Moran and this commentary hit a little closer to home than I think it was meant to. 😳😬😬😬😬😨
I'm a day late with this post but there are just so many books!! 😆 My #novembertbr is much bigger than these 6 books but right now, these are at the top of the list.

"....Capitalism is, surely, due an upgrade or two."
Got my hands on the new Caitlin Moran, and I am ECSTATIC. #FridayReads
Getting ready to interview Caitlin Moran in a few hours eeek!!! What should I ask her?
Many months ago, I placed a hold on this at the library even though I fully intended to buy it (I like to boost circulation no's). Ordered it from Book Depository earlier this month. And of course it arrived the same day as my library hold! 😆
In other news Book Depo has gone back to bubble envelopes, leading to some slight mangling as the letter carrier attempts to stuff them through our mail slot. 😐
So happy to have more Caitlin Moran. Can't wIt to dig in.
Yes, this is exactly how I feel walking home most nights.
This is exactly how I've been while my fiancé has been away for a week and a half! So happy he is back and now I can sleep... Burglars and murderers in the kitchen begone!
Better than Moranthology, not quite as good as How to be a Woman. Liked the idea of everyone writing, and sharing, their own political manifesto. Must get on that. Forgot the audiobook narrator wasn't Caitlin, she got her tone well.
So excited to read this book! I love everything this woman writes.
