pickFantastic ending to the Infernal Devices series! I seriously did not see that epilogue coming! Thanks to @Saknicole for recommending that I read this series. I loved the steampunk/fantasy Victorian London setting. The characters are so loveable, even the side characters. And this is the only love triangle I actually think really works. My main gripes: Mortmain is just not a very intriguing villain, and every teenage couple needing to get engaged.
pick💕💕💕😭😭😭💕💕💕 One of the best YA series I‘ve read. The whole last section was sweet, heartbreaking, and hopeful. I loved the whole series! So many wonderfully written characters. Tessa, Will, Jem, Charlotte, Henry, Magnus, and so many more.
I am now tempted to give the Mortal Instruments series another chance after feeling meh with the first book a million years ago.

Goosebumps All the way… this book is everything. It‘s heart wrenchingly romantic. An eternal love story of three people. At times it felt unbelievably impossible to have such a connection in a triangle love story but Cassandra Claire has a way with her words.. she is a magician when it comes to spinning beautiful phrases. I'm home today recovering from last night's migraine, snuggling under my HP throw my mum recently made for me. I'm hoping to get in some reading, but if that's too much it will be a Netflix binge of Castlevania.
pickHonestly when I read the physical copy of this book, I just didn‘t think it was that great of an ending. I‘m not super sure why I didn‘t vibe with this book. But the audiobook was soooo good and completely changed my thoughts on this book. Honestly if you can‘t get into this book, pick up the audiobook. It‘s so worth it!
pickSo the last in this particular series, sees the continuation of the fight against these strange creatures. We find out who Tessa ends up with and the other characters too. I do prefer the other series with Emma and Julian though. #books
pickSecond book in The Infernal Devices, it carries on with Tessa, Will and Jem fighting off strange robot type creatures. I am now on the final book. But this is not my favorite series from Cassandra Claire though. #bookseried

pickThis is where my journey with Clare‘s Shadowhunter world comes to a close. This trilogy was beautiful & this 3rd book left me heartbroken more times then I want to admit. Sophie & Gideon my heart!! Bridget is a badass fighter & I love her more now. And Henry, oh sweet sweet Henry, I seriously love that man. This was heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. Although the end felt like it stretched for days which was annoying I still enjoyed it.
pickIn a surprise twist, I ended up enjoying this one! For me, it was really the emotional factor that did it, and the second half of this book really stepped up. Cassandra has turned writing about characters into an art form.
The only thing I found irksome was the triangular love story. It made me uncomfortable, I am not sure why? But this sort of love story if it can be called that, is just not my ☕.
Nvrtheless, I am glad I cmpltd this series. Jem & Will 😍😍😍
pickPretty awesome ending to a great series. I'm not usually one for happy endings or even ones where everyone walks away with something good. But this was an ending worth celebrating. I enjoyed the fact that the struggle turned out to be all worthwhile in the end.

so-soAn army of infernal devices waits in the distance, it‘s one goal to eradicate the Shadowhunters. Mortmain is still hunting for Tessa, determined to claim her and user her power against the Shadowhunters she holds dear.
It sounds great, but it was repetitive relationship drama until the last half. Maybe my hopes were too high because I loved Mortal Instruments.

pickI found this book had a lot more action than the other two which I really enjoyed. It was nice to see all sorts of things clicking into place within the storyline - including linking to the mortal instruments series. Worth finishing - thank you to my husband who made dinner for me because I was determined to finish the last few pages!!!
In hindsight, should have left some time between reading the second and third book - struggling to stay committed to it!
Just got time for a few pages on book three before I get up to go to my volunteer work this morning. Might take a bit longer to get through this one, don‘t want to go back to work on Monday!!!

I love her shadow hunter chronicles and all the related anthologies in particular, and she is always posting stuff on social media (sometimes with Holly Black) including beautiful artwork for upcoming books!

pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 This was definitely my favorite book of the series. I also really enjoyed reading this series after the third book of The Mortal Instruments series. I was glad for a little break from that storyline so I didn‘t get bored with it.
