I just finished this book and, oh my gosh, is what I felt during the end of it.
I will say the first two hundred pages are slow, but the last hundred pages is where all the commotion happened. Highly recommend for anyone!!

Book 2 in the series captured the same magic of book one and shows Piper maturing and conflicts from within.
Loved it, but hated the cheesy lines from Ravi. The twist towards the end 👌🏽
I loved the mixed media aspect of this audiobook and the full cast of narrators that really added to the podcast feeling. I did get a little lost towards the end, but I think that was more a problem with my attention than the storyline. Either way it was a solid story and I‘m excited to read the final story in the series! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
It has been so long since I‘ve read a murder mystery, and oh have I missed them. There is nothing like trying to solve a crime along side the main character. This series has pulled me completely under, and I cannot wait to read book three.
Book 42📚 4⭐️
After successfully solving the murder of Andie Bell last year, Pips podcast takes off; setting her up as a global sensation. But after swearing off future investigations a friends brother goes missing and asks for her help finding him. Where is Jamie Reynolds?
Once again so behind on reviews so let's play catchup.
I devoured this series about a girl who investigates a murder-suicide that happened years before in her home town. The case is closed, but Pip thinks the police and community were too quick to make assumptions. And the more she digs, the less the accepted narrative adds ups. The killer in the 3rd book was way too obvious, but overall a strong series. Can't wait to see the TV adaptation.
This is an absolute masterpiece that kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The character development, plot twists, and suspenseful storyline had me hooked from the very first page. The author‘s writing style is engaging and immersive, making it impossible to put down (although I had to in order to get some other books read). The main character Pip, is a relatable and strong female lead that you…

I've been doing a lot of reading this weekend because I tested positive for covid womp womp. Thankfully it's been very mild so far, and I'm mostly just tired with low energy so lots of audiobooks and crocheting on the couch. #WeekendReads
4 ⭐ This sequel does not suffer from the second book slump. It gives you a mystery and it just keeps on going. Pip is winding up her first podcast for the mystery Sal‘s brother and Addie. There‘s been a little bit of backlash on the podcast because well, it‘s the Internet. But now her friend, Connor‘s brother, is missing, the police won‘t search for him. Pip is the only person who can help. This book continues the ideas and the characters
I'm not sure how to rate this or even what to say about it. I was invested in finding out what happened to Jamie so the mystery aspect was mostly satisfying. But the end left me sad & annoyed. I don't much like the people of this town & by the end of this book I didn't care much for Pip either. Soft pick but I'm not feeling inclined to read the last one.
Has anyone read the British version of this series? Is the location the only difference?
I can‘t tell if I liked this one more or less than the first book! It was most definitely a good read and it brought more twists and turns! The ending did not disappoint 🫢
The 2nd part of this series and was as enthralling as the first part!
G for A to Z challenge!
Currently reading this one. Liked the first one but didnt love it. Hoping this one is better.
A friend of Pip's ask her to investigate his brothers disappearance. Twists and turns, surprise ending. Use of podcast/notes to aid in the story were good, the story itself not as good as first one (more of a stretch, writing not as good). Overall though, good enough for me to want to read the next one.
Make a great day everyone❄️

1/2 finished for #JoyousJanuary
I had an old BMW, bought at an auction, that I enjoyed, other than that the make or model of car not a big deal to me, more of the features. As I get older (and technology changes as well as what comes standard on a car changes) which features matter change. Younger me ...convertible, cup holder, stereo system. Older me.....tire alerts (shows which tire low), blind spot alert, automatic brights. 🤣
#TLT @dabbe thx for tag @TheSpineView
Thank you #GangstaWrappers leader @Bookwormjillk and team mates!

Happy New Year everyone - make a great day🎁🥳
This #20in4 gives me one last opportunity to add readathon hours for #WinterGames #GangstaWrappers - I've started tagged and A Court of Thorns and Roses - so that's what I'll be reading.
Thanks for hosting @Andrew65 ☃️
Make a great day everyone 🎁
The sequel to “a good girl‘s guide to murder”. This one was an audiobook for me. And it worked really well as an audiobook. I liked the storyline and the twists and turns. Can‘t wait to read the next one in the series
The second instalment and still as good as the first! Pip releases a true crime podcast which goes viral. Someone close to her goes missing so Ravi and Pip begin uncovering their towns secrets. Pip has to play a dangerous game and reach in to her dark side, not everyone can help her this time round. Break ins, disappearances, court cases - it‘s all in this book. Fast-paced, nail biting and brilliant story telling!
What an awesome follow up to AGGGTM! Pip swore she was done with amateur sleuthing, but when her best friend‘s brother goes missing and the police won‘t investigate, she steps up to the plate.

The 2nd book starts off slow as well. I don't know if this is an intentional trend of this author or not.
I struggled to finish, but still intrigued for the 3rd in this series.
DNF‘d this one upon realizing I‘m not as interested in it as I used to be. Kind of sad, but oh well.
Loved the continuation of Pip and Ravi's banter and relationship. The plot and direction was shocking and just as mysterious as the first, though near the end it was unpredictable due to the sudden new direction. Seeing Pip become more angry and traumatised was interesting and I feel for her. The ending was good and left some loose ends which I'm hoping are cleared up in the third and final book.
Just finished pretty good maybe not as good as the first one but still pretty solid
The follow up to A good girls guide to murder.
Lot's of twists and turns with an emotional ending.
Enjoyed this one, had the twists and turns and keep me guessing.
I listened to this via Borrowbox, and I enjoyed it,
I preferred the first one a little more but still enjoyable,
and very twisty turny!
4.75/5
I didn't realise quite how dark these books go from book two onwards :O
Love a good thriller though!
Read for reading challenges.
4.5/5
I continue to enjoy this series! Yet another one I didn‘t want to put down!
I enjoyed revisiting these characters. The second book was just as good as the first. Both make you think about the good bad binary. This one was a little more in your face about it. It makes you ponder and not just about the mysteries. The ending had some surprises just like the last as well. I also like how this book shows Pip angry and a little out of control. It makes her an authentic character. I‘d recommend this series and will read #3.
Finished on May 1st, but it was still the best of the month. Looking forward to finishing the series in 2023!

⭐️⭐️⭐️• I wish I‘d read this closer to the first. I forgot about most of the characters.
The second book I felt started a bit slow. It didn‘t seem to pick up until about half way through. The ending was good though! I definitely didn‘t see it coming!
5/5 ⭐
A fun and addicting mystery. I can't wait to read the finale one.
I'll be posting my points next week for week 1 and 2.
I got sick and I didn't go the energy to do much. I've been reading slowly. 🎃

Okay, this one was hectic right from the start! I loved the plot and couldn‘t see myself going to bed tonight without finishing it 🤪. Pip was not so great in this installment: very self-righteous and arrogant…
•Shocking Twist for #PromptMaze
•Theme Read and “Victim” prompt for #TeamSlaughter for #Scarathlon
When I finished book one, I thought “There‘s no way it can keep being this captivating.” Now, I‘m eating my words while sipping on a homemade pumpkin spice latte 🤪 #OctoberBucketList
PHEW! This sequel was faster paced and more intense than the first book — I stayed up til the wee hours last night finishing it, even though I know better. Lots of action, thoughtful mysteries, and some interesting, in-depth character development. Maybe a couple more obvious clues than the first, but that didn‘t detract from the experience. On to book 3! (So glad I don‘t have to wait!)
Book number 3 for #Scarathlon. 🎃
I'm on page 91. So far I like it. It has illustrations in it, which I love.
@Clwojick
THE PERFECT SEQUEL!! holly jackson knows how to emotionally destroy the readers with the most unexpected plot and ending.
Read these back to back on vacation. Super excited for the third one (that isnt out until February!!) So that I can finish the series.
This needs to be a three season TV show.

Good Girl, Bad Blood - 🤘⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pippa is at it again and things get darker and more dangerous. And I did not see that end coming.
Critical Role - more like ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 but it was a decent start to a new (to me) series. All the snarky half-elves.
