I re-found this Hanukkah audio novella series this year & really enjoyed listening to them in the holiday bustle of running errands & doing tasks. Is it my all-time #FaveHolidayBk ? No, but if you like quick, rom-coms with a fun friend group set in NYC during the holidays, they are a good listen! ❄️💙❄️

While I enjoyed this one, it was my least favorite in this 3 book Hanukkah romance series. I liked the characters but the plot didn't work as well as it could have. I don't want to spoil the plot for others so I just say that true besties would be more careful of their friends feelings. 3.5ish ⭐️

This was a quick listen about a relationship developing from friends to something more over Hanukkah. Unfortunately, Rachel and Oz were frustratingly oblivious to both their own and the other's feelings until the very end of the book. I may still check out the other two books in the series, since it was a quick, fun listen.

Book 2 is a second chance rom com centered around Hanukkah. The same great characters from book 1 are back along with a friend who left them behind.

This might be my first Hanukkah rom-com. I loved it. Quick listen, great friend group & I learned some things about Hanukkah celebrations along the way. I‘ll definitely be listening to books 2 & 3.

I‘m used to Christmas rom-coms. I think this is the first Chanukah rom-com I‘ve read. It was a nice change. And it was interesting to learn about how observant Jews and non-observant Jews celebrated in their own ways and with each other. This is the first book in a series. I‘ve read the second and third and will review those next. There‘s going to be at least one more for the holidays next year because there‘s still one more member of this(cont)⬇️

This second chance romance was cute and sweet. Last holiday season this author gave us Oz and Rachel's story so now it's Adam and Sara's turn which I thoroughly enjoyed! I'll be hoping for Tamara's or Elliot's (or both!) story later this year.

While I enjoyed Bright Winter Lights, I found this one cringy. Unrequited love is not my favorite trope, and here, it‘s unrequited love for BFF‘s boyfriend. It ended okay because Tamera turned out to be decent friend. But otherwise I spent most of it cringing.

Sara and Adam were best friends in high school but a falling out has had them barely speaking for years until Adam asks Sara to be his date to his family's Hanukkah party to get his matchmaking mother off his back. Fake dating + reacquainting + 'could this be real' escapades follow. Cute story but the big reveal of what caused the fall out was underwhelming. Otherwise enjoyable, I liked Sara's group of friends. Not in litsy so tagging the 1st book

I thought this was a really cute story and enjoyed that it took place during Hanukkah. Nice to read a different perspective to the traditional Christmas story. A fun holiday book. 4/5⭐️

This was a cute & quick holiday rom-com listen with likable characters & a Hanukkah in NYC setting. I listened while addressing #HolidayCardSwap envelopes & playing the Week 2 WordSearch game. I gave out after 520 words, so 5200 points to my Week 2 totals.

I really enjoyed this. Rachel and Oz are both likeable characters and, despite being an enthusiastic Christmas celebrant myself, I found the focus on Hanukkah (Chanukah?) refreshing. Tamara was a frustrating character but was barely in it so she didn't impact my enjoyment much.

I finished this over a week and a half ago, but I‘m still trying to get back into the swing of things. I think this one was free on Audible. This was a fun Hanukkah romance. A quick, cute read. Three and a half stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

I really enjoyed this romance! Two people meet during the Hanukkah season, make a connection, but end up friends. A year later, they are getting a second chance.
