Meet Sweet Potato, the latest addition to our home. He's itty bitty and ridiculously cute!! 😻
Finished the tagged book. It's a great story and weaves in a lot of voices and themes. It has a slow start but once it got going, I was hooked. The book's style feels old-fashioned, and so I do wonder if many kids today would enjoy it.

The Raven King (All for the Game) (Volume 2) | Nora Sakavic

Yesterday I hung out with Casey and, to my great surprise, binge-read THE RAVEN KING. The character dynamics that never coalesced for me in the first book finally did so here, in a big, must-read-more kinda way. There‘s still a certain amount of performative edginess, but there are also real, interesting connections arranged in a fascinating web. Plus, I‘m a sucker for a novel where someone tries to remain aloof but comes to love, like, EVERYONE.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I read these in lockdown, I loved the Foxes, in all their messy, traumatised, violent, healing glory. I want to reread before I move on to the new book.
