Devouring this serious for a second time. I just love the whole concept of semi sentient Inns on Earth as way stations for the galaxy. I want to be Dina the innkeeper when I grow up! The spin off with her sister is also a wild and fun ride. #urbanfantasy #scifi #libby
Dina hosts a (not so peaceful) peace summit at the inn.
Honestly this series is so odd. I like Dina. Andrews always do a good job with their FMCs (not pushovers, but not bristly for no reason, never the sole powerful female, never a Mary Sue, like actual people but with powers) I‘m not 1000% sold on it exactly but I‘m left pretty curious. The chef made this one for me.
This completely delightful book finds a group of sheep in France with their shepherdess when a deer is found horrifically killed in the woods. The sheep try to solve the mystery while protecting their own flock. It‘s so cute and fun, and the translator really did a marvelous job.
I have been feeling the need for old book friends and some supernatural sexiness and thought I would reread Soulless my library had this short story, it is all about "That hedgehog incident". Very cute, and just enough to get me thinking yes I do want to reread this series. I do think Maccron felt a bit different here so I am interested to see if I am remembering him well. It has been about 6 years since I read the series
Finally finished all the Sookie Stackhouse stories and loved them all!

Themes: Sleuthing Sheep‘s, Fun characters and great storytelling
This was Book 2 in the “Sheep Detective” series and it was just as great as Book 1 (“Three Bags Full”). I love this series, and I hope there‘s more from Miss Maple, Mopple the Whale, Sir Ritchfield, and Heather too!
#AdultingDoneRight Enjoying chips & queso for dinner with my current (fabulous!!) read 🥰🤩 Happy Mother‘s Day to all the amazing mamas here!
100 pages in and I was confused on why things were happening and how we got there. Felt like we had things happening just to have them happen and not for any reason that was important to plot or character development.
I woke up the other day & thought "i am ready to be hurt again" and immediately started my reread. I remembered the basics but had forgotten so much- and going on Cooper's emotional journey (he's really going through it!!!) was SO GOOD. Will I be brave enough to move on to book 3... where it very much looks like the boys will be going through it again - but this time with Oliver's family being the ones entangled in a murder investigation? TBD.
