Some people would say I have too many books; they would be wrong.

This is essentially my xmas/bday book haul. And now I will go on sabbatical I definitely to finish my TBR.

Books I've kept on my shelves from the last two years. I've read a lot from my shelves this year, but I usually take a lot to my class library. My goal next year is to read what is on my shelves so I can make room for more!

This feels like a book that you need to talk to other people about. So ... has anyone else read this? What do you think?

I'm lucky I get book money for my classroom and I have few students who love Nova Ren Suma as much as I do!

Trying to get through some YA so I can take them back to my classroom and review for my students! Legend so far is awesome - a close dystopian world (one that semi-matches our own) is fascinating to me. I love the characters so far too.

I've heard so much about this book, but it also seems I haven't heard much about this book. I'm going in with 0 expectations and am loving it so far.

Holy Satanists, Batman! This is a wild ride of horror and fun. Kind of campy, but definitely kept me guessing. Not the ending I was expecting, but definitely what this book deserved.

I‘ve only read 8 books so far this year, but my reading life has honestly never been better. All 8 of the books have been winners!

#lifegoals I bought this book for my class library and so far I‘ve been the only one who has checked it out! So amazing and wonderful.

We‘re moving (again) in a few months which means I have to pack up all my books (again). Sigh.

Finished A Darker Shade of Magic and returned to my short story collection (that I still haven‘t finished)! Although, I am really loving this story so far!

So I‘ve been reading... and doing #nanowrimo ... and teaching. And this picture is an accurate representation of my #mood. All I can think about is I have 9 days off after tomorrow and I don‘t care what family stuff I have to endure as long as I can sleep! (And maybe read and catch up on my word count..?)

“The library is the temple of the human spirit, the tabernacle of the written and printed word.” This book I found for .50 cents(!!!) is one of my most favorite possessions!

Had the pleasure to sit through jury duty on Monday (didn‘t get picked 😢). Got some reading in and actually talked to some strangers about books!!!

I finally finished this giant book last week with my reading buddy 😻. It was slow at parts where it seemed the story was just going back and forth, but it picked up near the end and reeled me in. Glad I bought it!

#mayreads still trucking on the Series of Unfortunate Events books AND reading some killer comics! Descender is getting better and better, American Vampire is so addicting, and Sarah Anderson's doodles are so welcoming during the end of year stress.

In high school, I could not STAND The Scarlet Letter. After revisiting it in college, I found a weirdness in Hawthorne and fell in love. A colleague just gave me a box of books and I found this gem - I think the 'connections' section is what makes this edition for me. #TeachersofLitsy #TOC

I think Helquist's illustrations in this book are my favorite so far. He has done a fantastic job in the previous books, but I just love the theme to this one the best. #currentlyreading
