Just finished this scary book. I think I liked it. Creepy to say the least. Definitely worth the read.

I first read this as a baby-sitting high schooler many moons ago. I had forgotten just how scary it was in the Lot. A favorite!

I'm a teacher and while reading a book to a group of 3rd graders we came across the word melancholy. I asked what they thought it meant. A blonde-haired camo-wearing little guy that I knew loved to ride horses and 4-wheelers answered "sad but in a good kind of way." This story - half fiction, half non-fiction - sad, but in a good kind of way. The bigger picture - how many stories just like this are there? And how lucky they were to have a story.

1. Driving or doing the dishes. 2. Audible or library. 3. Original. 4. I don't really have a particular favorite narrator but I love memoirs read by the author. 5. Lincoln in the Bardo. ❤️ @Chelleo #audiobookinquiry

My first completed read of 2018, that wasn't for a two year old. Disturbing. Completely believable. Set in 1860's Scotland, and no less political commentary for 2018 USA.

1. Chocolate chip and a glass of milk.
2. Enjoy both. Doing both this year.
3. Not sure - don't keep track, but tracking is a goal for 2018.
4. If I have to pick between the two, Home Alone. However my favorite is It'a A Wonderful Life.
